basically you can call me what you want.

But yes i got up to business III and then dropped it. Why???

Because as an armorsmith I have large amounts of items to store. I use to have 5 small houses.... well that was not enough still...

So i bit the bullet and did what a master merchant budy of mine suggested. I sell nothing off this vendor.

Its strictly for storate.

My MM guild mate runs two vendors for me and i get paid ever few days.

Either way point is have the Dev's said what they are going to do about vendors like that, and if they are ever going to address the storage problem?

I know storage is not a merchant problem but storing items on a vendor is..

Does anyone know anything????

Yes, we know that it's because of people like you who store a lot of things on vendors that real merchants are going to be nerfed with an item limit on vendor.

Instead of loads of houses, just place loads of factories... 100 items per input hopper for 1 lot is much more economical than the 75 items per lot for houses

Also keep your stuff from factory runs in the output hoppers without moving them, theres another 100 (ish, though some factories dont go to 100 all the time) storage for finished items per lot.

The only times ive ever listed resources on vendors is for the older stuff which im not using listed at a price which would be considered high (5-10 cpu for medium quality stuff) to store older stuff, and if it sells, theres no biggie since i'd be getting more than their market value for them, and im using better quality stuff as standard anyway, which is stored between 2 characters banks, factories and 1 house.

You are using the logic of not having enough storage space to justifiy stealing a skill. Why not just keep those points invested in business3? Oh you'd rather cheat mmkay? That is not logical.

So as to the answer can you 'not' get flamed, the answer is no.

Am I selling a single thing.... NO

My vendor sells nothing, and is never empty.....

So how is this hurting merchants??????????????

LOL at DingaBoi, you shouldn't even be allowed to view the boards let alone post if all your going to do is flame instead of making sensable statements.

do you have a better suggestion on storing items.....

Dev's already said they are not increasing resource stacks, and they are not increasing crate sizes. so you tell me then.

Just think if they decided to fix this "bug" how much more of a problem storate would be....

Quote by TH

It should be mentioned that manufacturing runs of 1000 items happened because of a UI bug early on. The slider only went up to 100 items, but players soon found out they could type in 1000 units on the manufacturing schematic. We haven’t fixed this bug because we know players will consider it a big nerf, so we have hedged against doing this for the time being.

all i wanted to know was how the dev's plan on handling the problem, and if they had any intentions on addressing a growing storage issue.

Yes they are going to nerf the max items you can store on a vendor because of people like you who use them for storage.

Songe, you aren't helping the guy, and if you have a link that proves what you are saying, post it. otherwise, stop with the merchant whining routine.

I'm not gonna go back 2 months earlier to find the post where they said they would limit vendors to 150 items nor the post saying that they had temporarily delayed it, sorry. I'm sure the other merchants here know what I'm talking about though.

You want to know how to fix your storage problem?

Throw some stuff away, if you're not using now and are not going to use it in the next few weeks then you either don't need it or just have too much of it.

And don't give me all that junk about needing the stuff, scale down your business if necessary and get it into your head that the problem isn't the lack of storage the problem is that you have too much stuff and you, or others like you with too much stuff, have found one loophole after another to exploit in order to store more than the developers ever wanted you to be able to store.

I know armorsmith requires a tone of resources, and so does weaponsmith. its not like i am hoarding everything. anything i don't use anymore gets given to a budy of mine with a junk dealer just b/c he hates it when i delete stuff.

i'd like to see anyone succefully run and stay in stock with 10 lots. say what 3 factories 1 small house and 5 harvesters???? even with 150 items in the house and 300 in input hopper that still is not enough storage some days.
