Try writing up a ticket, though I'm not sure how much help that will be.

This totally stinks. I too lost perhaps over 100 million in resources. Why else do we put 6 months maintenance in there?

No response on my ticket. Anyone else get a response?

If no one accessed it in two weeks, it will poof. That's how it's supposed to work. It may not be fair, but it's not a bug.

Wow - I didn't even know about this one, and I've been a master merchant for over a year. Guess I should pay more attention. I thought the vendors would only poof 1 month after all the stuff fell back to the stock room...

Why would they poof it for 2 weeks of no customers? Some legitimate shops aren't in high traffic places.

It was part of the whole mini revamp we got,

vendors are considered abondoned if they are left alone for a period of time.

one of the biggest reason all merchants I know and several very craing mayors

will load vendor and browse then at least every other day
{they load them for overhead map but with galatic search it is all about keeping them alive more then seen}

I had the same thing happen to me. 4 vendors poofed out of a very high traffic merchant tent. Does browsing work or does there have to be an actual sale? I had emails of sales within 3 weeks on all of the vendors but have no proof that they were browsed. I never received any kind of warning that they were in danger and all had about a year of maintenance paid on them. Mine were the only vendors out of 3 different players in the tent that it happened to so I am suspicious but so far both of the tickets I have sent in have been denied. I lost millions of credits worth of weapons and CSR is basically telling me to go pound sand.

How long has the vendors been gone? Are they NPC vendors? Our city had/has problems with NPC Vendors and Skill Trainers disappearing when placed near a server boundary. It's really weird when it happens... A couple of vendors disappear, but another vendor right next to is fine. *The last Skill Trainer that disappeared, hasn't shown his/her face in several days...andI haven'treceived a response on the ticket that I opened either.

As for the vendors disappearing because of inactivity, I thought that would only happen if the vendor did not have any items for sale. If vendors disappear when they have stuff for sale because of inactivity, that really bites.

If that's how they are supposed to work then it's a bad design.

They should disappear 2 weeks after they become empty - as long as there is some merchandise on them obviously they are in use.
