'it is still exploiting the system'. Seems pretty clear to me, denying it even now doesn't seem much credible.

I'm not denying anything, I just find it funny that the quote being held up is "it's an exploit of sorts". It sounds so authoritative.

from a 'forums admin' who is not a dev or coder. and 'exploit of sorts'. Yeah.. like P4samwise said.. that really confirms it. Especially if you consider how old that post is, and how the much more recent post where TH -- who in my opinion holds just a bit more authority -- said it was just something that was unintended and scheduled to be fixed.
But hey... interpret it to your own bias. It really doesn't change anything.

Nice find, not surprising there's still arguments about it, but a nice find nonetheless.
The only sad thing is the thread is dated back in Feb.

just goes to show how much the exploiters have cost merchants... we would have been fixed long ago if the bugs/EXPOITS had been fixed.

Yeps. A slightly outdated opinion of a forum administrator. But I am sure Garva has a lot of say in the development process. It is unfortunate that since then TH has posted saying it wasn't intended and would be fix... but nothing about an exploit. I guess you gotta hold on to whatever straws you can though. It is better than flaming at least.
ps. No disrespect intended to Garva, but after having worked for two different computer game companies, I know that in both of the cases I am familiar with, the forum admins were not programmers and had little, if anything, to do with the actual code or design.
