Thread: PETITION: Change Merchant Tent Ownership Requirement
Although I can see requiring Efficiency 4 to place, NOVICE Merchant, or better you NO REQUIREMENT should be necessaryto own this structure. Your continue requirement for this building is the ONLY ONE IN THE GAME. It takes skill points to place a tent!?! Please, show me a reason for this that has any sense. We have yet another product in the Architect/Merchant tree that is nigh unusable or able to sale.

Yes the whole purpose of the Tent was to signify that there were vendors inside. The way to do that is to make sure the it is owned by merchants. You can't do that if you give ownership rights to everyone.
While I wouldn't be opposed to moving it. Honestly higher merchant skills have few enough perks that I would rather keep it fairly high. It seems good where it is to me.

And let me be able to use uber stims and woundpacks without having to have medic skills, maskscent for everyone...
...oh, and remove the 3K cap from the bazaar, too. Why not...since you can surrender all your merchant skills and keep your tents AND all 6 vendors.... oh, but, that's the next soap box over...sorry.
Even though I can't sell the merchant tents, this requirement helps keep my mall from being obsolete. So, hmmm maybe its a good thing.

Make it not cost a lot.
I enjoy having a house for decoration and storage -- also helps a lot for immersion. Factories and now tents are making it more and more difficult to maintain my chosen professions of Chef/Miner/Merchant.
