With the Item cap going in it will mean that the Merchant prof will function like its suppose to.
As middlemen.
People will be able to play as a Merchant not as a crafter with merchant skills.
Real world business model (Simplified)
Levi Sells its clothes to Wal Mart and then the customer buys it from Wal Mart
Levi=Crafter
WalMart=Merchant.
If Levi wants to have its own store and cut out the middleman it can but it wont have the same volume of customer traffic that Wal Mart Provides

I didn't realize that walmart sold out of a 12x12 store with only enough stock for 110 items.

No it sells out of a store that sells 660 items.
And if they fixed the bazzar(Say convience store) all the crap people put on the vendors for under 6k
You wouldn't need all the space

Ummmmm...sorry...but if ANYONE can honestly say they want to pay to be able to run around spamming "I can sell stuff for you! I can sell stuff for you! I have 100 vendor spaces left! send /tell !!!" in this game then I got 10 million credits for them....

No, most people are bitching because it comes down to simple mathematics. 50 suits of composite I sell in about 2 weeks. Full suit is 9 pieces. 9 x 50 is 450 items I have to upload. Show me where it makes sense I need 5 vendors to stock a simple 50 suits. Now, what am I supposed to do with my 50 Ubese suits?

So your telling me that youd sell all of your 660 items that you'd put in stock for more than 6k?

I'm with you Wilkies. Your explanation might have been too short for some of these people. The point is basically in the real world economy it is extremely rare to both manufacture and sell. I do think the limit should be around 200 per vendor, but otherwise this is a great idea.

i want one vendor for all my weapons. is that so wrong? I want to stock it with enough weapons so that I can have A LIFE.
If you don't have a life or want to have a life, don't take it out on me. I'm not judging you for riding the special bus.
