Thread: DocSavag, Please Help!! Gamebreaking Merchant Bug, and CSRs No Help.

IF anyone can help me please do so. My alt toon on Flurry (Avenir ) is a master artisan/shipwright, and Merchant 3/4/3/4. Yestereday i logged on and try to view my vendors and they were all empty. I'm thinking w.t.f just happened. The items did not expire , and i did have enough maintenace money in all 9 of my vendors. I submitted a CSR ticket and the csr asked me to listed what was on vendors, where placed and when. Well i just can't pull all the info out of thin air. I submitted a list to my best recollection.
Then to add a new twist to the story, I kept getting emails that I was still selling items. I asked a customer if they could see the items on my vendor, and they said yes.
How the heck is a merchant supposed to be able to operate a business if I am not able to view the items currently in stock.
Doc, or whoever else, if you have run into this bug and a fix please let me know. To my knowledge I have never seen it. I logged on a day later and the bug was still active, so the server reset did not fix it.

Make sure you have a category selected in your vendor view. If it is defaulting to none selected then you won't see anything even though there are things on there. Make sure the "All" category is selected and refresh the view.

Oh my god I feel like such the noob, lol. IT was defaulting to none selected. Something so simple and i didn't think of hitting the all buttion. Well i thought I did yesterday, but oh well the stuff is viewable again. Thanks Doc.

That little bug has hit most of us at one time or the other. I have had my heart in my throat more than once before I realized the filter was set to nothing.

That happens to me at least once a week. Espeically when I am crafting and stocking merchandise at the same time because any item inserted into your inventory while you are in the for sale tab will deselect the current item. This results in me yelling at the interface until I realize that it deselected my item and isn't just lying about there being nothing selected to sell
