Not in TC at the moment, but I have a quick question.
Does anyone know if vendors will not be able to wear armor in the CU due to certifications?

I'm not sure when I'll be able to test lots of different bits of armor, but someone was able to fit a mabari helmet on their vendor so it looks unchanged. I'll try to do a more thorough check later unless someone beats me to it.

Whew, so I have time before I have to redress my RIS vendor. Also wanted to get one dressed in scout armor

Ok, here's what my preliminary tests have shown and some others noted similar results:
On a random selection of vendors with a random selection of armor...
-Non-faction armor should still fit as it currently does.
-Faction armor (linked and un-linked) was rejected.
-Something else I can't tell you about because of the NDA.

Nope, that's not it.
However on a semi-unrelated note, you can pick vendors up if you haven't initialized them.
They go back into your inventory and you can drop them again.
If it's an NPC vendor, they reappear where you dropped them first and then walk over to the new drop spot.
Still can't /move them, tho.
Once initialized, it's the same as always.

Cool, though what happens if you drop an NPC vendor in the basement of a guildhall then redrop them upstairs, will they take the lift?

Sorry. I only had a small house to test in.
If I had to guess, I'd figure that it would just warp since it's really just a client location perception thing.

They will walk over to the new drop spot... *shiver* That's kinda creepy actually.
Oh man, I will definitely have to play spook the customers with that trick. It was a scream the first time I dropped a jukebox in the mall while a customer was browsing a vendor, then I turned on the SW Theme. He said he nearly wet his pants it startled him so bad.
So, what about weapons? I presume they will be similar to armor certs? Some, will, some won't be equippable on vendors?

One Question, how do i pick up a non- initialized Vendor?
I'm trying on TC-EP3 atm but always get "You dont have the permission to access Vendor: bla"
Do i maybe need to be the owner of the used structure?
[Edit: Ok, checked that, you definitely need to be the Owner of the structure to pick up a Vendor]
