Thread: are the vendor update messages bugged?

alright i'm wondering if others are having this problem or it's just me. when i remove all items from my vendor i get this email
"your vendor is now workign properly"
and when i put something back on them i get this email
"your vendor hasn't been used for a while blah blah before it dissapears"
anyone else getting this bug?

I've never gotten them out of order like that.
Could it be lag?
I've had the emails from dropping harvesters delayed like that before so that I got the email for harvester B before I got the one for harvester A.

i don't think there is any lag, because i get the emails the exact moment i place or remove items. i'll check it later tonight to see if it's still doign it.

never had that issue myself altho I have had times when I have stocked a new vendor then recieved the "your vendor isnt working mail" then shortly after the "your vendor is working properly now" and i put that down to our friend mr lag

alright checked it again, emails are still switched. the main thing i'm worried about is that one day i will find my fully stocked vendors go *poof!* because the system thinks they are empty. am i really the only one with this problem though? i'm on naritus, maybe it's a server thing. if some people could test it out that would be appreciated.

Mails are just borked. I had several of my vendors run out of maintenance and not one mail about it; I found one damaged 88% before I realized it. They were still functioning in every other way--overhead map, offers, sales, stockroom, etc., they were just decaying without a word.
(I've since added six months of maintenance to them all and check it monthly to be sure.)
I've had harvs start run out of maintenance and power--both before and after the "bank account" change--and I only got mail once.
Yet I still get that gobflarmed "Your auction has ended unsuccessfully" mail every time I manually pull something.

I am having the switched notification mails too.
I have been moving around a lot of vendors and stock this week. When I initialize a vendor, I get the functioning normally mail. Once I add stock to it, I get the your vendor is empty blah blah mail. When I empty one vendor to move stock over to a new vendor, I get the functioning normally mail. Not good. 
And yes. That is worrisome. Is it just the mails that are backwards? Or is the system check also backwards? Aremy fully-stocked, maint paid vendors going to go POOF! in two weeks?

the good thing is i'm pretty sure it's nto 14 days for a vendor poof anymore. i think they changed it to 100 days some time ago.

BTW not bugged, not lag!
Do not forget since the Merchant update,
if you vendor does not sell an item or you have not added a new item to it, it is abondoned.
relisting items from stock room browseing vendor
and paying maint does not affect this state.
put something new up for sale.

Well, Ihave salesand put something new up daily. On all my vendors. So it's not that.

yeah this is wrong. relisting from stock does affect it. and yes it is bugged. because i have put new things up.

I made two new vendors last night and it happened with both of them. Thought it was odd at the time, but didn't bug it. Maybe I should have.
