If a credit duper buys an item off your vendor, you are flagged as receiving duped credits and therefore banned (I was). The only way to protect yourself is to close up your shop until Soe wakes up and realizes what they are doing.
Sorry for the spam. I'm outraged about the way Soe is handling things.

If you have been unjustly suspended please contact CS using one of the following methods:
Email to [email protected] or call tech support at 858 790 STAR. They could also go to the website and do live webchat with Tech Support.

Great. On my "skill vendor" I have 1 unit of steel priced at 1k, to keep with the planed vendor revamp, so if a duper buys it I get banned?

Some are outraged some are mortified thinking their reputations ruined. I have no words to describe how angry I am. SOE could not have handled this in a worse way.

Anyone know what servers are affected so far.... I really don't want to close up my shop but I will if I have to.
I am a developer an am appaled by the way soe as done this. This should have been a process where they took each account that was flagged and looked at the transactions over a period of time and then if it was suspect then have someone manually look at the account to determine if it should be banned or not.
Shame on you SOE and shame on the dupers.

Dude, do you even realize that NONE of that works as a means to get a hold of anyone. It's been 72 hours after I've spammed people asking for a response and I've heard nothing.
Thunderheart doesn't even have the common courtisy to post a simple "By the way we are looking into this". It's so amazing...

closing up my venders too, and not taking credits from anyone at all until this is taken care of.
Can anyone confirm if yoru tipped by a duper if yoru banned then?
and is there anyway to block someone from /tip'ing you?

Currently there is no way to /reject a /tip or /banktip.. I already made another post on this forum requesting that they implement a method for us to /reject or 'block' any credit transactions that we deem as suspect. We have absolutely no way of defending ourselves against dupers running through Coronet randomly tipping millions of credits to whomever they see.

Would someone like to explain to me how I "close" a shop with three thousand items in-stock?

All servers. Every one of them.

I'm a developer too. They should have banned (suspended) anyone in the trail of duplicate credits, then worked 24x7 looking through transaction logs. Upon finding evidence in the transaction logs of innocense, they should have removed the duped credits from the account, restored whatever the duped credits bought fromthe account, and reinstated the account. They should have set a timeframe for completing this analysis and shared it with the playerbase.
But they definitely should have suspended everyone in the chain ASAP to prevent the problem from spreading while they move on to the next steps.
Shame on you SOE and shame on the dupers.

IF you want to close...and I'm not going to...how about changing your house sign to "Closed during Duping Scandal,"unregistering your vendors, having your vendors say something like please do not buy any merchandise during this time of duped credits, and putting up a 50k access fee?
