That depends on what you mean by "win". A medic has more damage healing potential at 0040. The 2030 medic has first aid. At 0040 a medic can potentially heal up to 1900 damage, vs about 1000 at 2030. The question is, how much healing power is likely to be wasted? Using 1900 is very possible for a fully buffed player, but are you going to wait until that much healing is needed before using the stim? There is also the added cost of Stim Es (or Ds) vs Stim Cs. For some, that's a consideration, for others it isn't.

Well, money is no object, and I'm always buffed and fighting high-end stuff.

On the left you have the treatment power and first aid, on the right you have a different type of treatment power, less time cost, and possibly less mind cost. How does it balance out in the end?

If you need First Aid, you might REALLY need it ... fighting NS without it would be bad. Also remember that 2030 increases your heals by 30%, so that 600 goes to almost 800.

Yeah. I'm really afraid of mind bleeds too.

I'm 2040 medic atm, used to be MD, and I see my bleed heals taking a lotmore application.

Is it just I am getting hit with larger bleeds, or does the size of the bleed cured go up with injury or

wound treatment skill? I dida search on firstaid and power...got a lot about the injury treatment mod

and skill. It used to be that /firstaid worked the same regardless of medic skill, but given my exerience,

I am not certain that is still true.

Anyone know this relationship? Would my BE pants help out firstaid too? May be a good reason to drop

the stun/MD clothes I am wearing...or change them depending on target.

I really miss MD, but I am 1.5 trees from completion of FS, so I want to keep double combat mastery.

First aid is scaled with your skill (injury treatment). This was added in one of the early monthly patches. I don't know if anyone has ever tested if BE clothes affect it.

With 2xxx and 15 pants I heal bleeds in two tries. Actually think it's same without pants.

So if I am hearing correctly

0040 will give a larger better heal (using higher end stims) but will cost more

2030 will give a lower heal but will cost less and allow for healing bleeds

Are there any other factors that I haven't figured in?

well its quite simple when you use medical skills its quite im portant to have an high medicine use becurse that makes you able of using higher lvl stim like me,

i were an medica 0/0/4/2 i could heal up to 1700 with D stims wich some are albe to use at this since there diference on the stim i had some D with med ude 39 and some with 42 but if you can get some with 40- you should be able to heal quite alot of damage derfor you are an better medic when you can use higher level stim but my advice is dont go for the speed there are like 2 second diference from 0/4/4/0 than from 0/0/4/0 so go for the 4/0/4/0 first and then after that take the speed line it dosent make aqn any critical diference when youre not an doctor and since they have reduces the medical time take my advice and good luck to you in the future

in my experience (vs ns and others) if you get a bleed on you, and don't have first aid.. you're fighting a losing battle. Factor in that bleeds = increased bf (in my exp), and increased bf = reduced healing.. I would say it's a no brainer.

2030 for sure.

u sure you can't free up the extra few points for 2040? it helps lots, and imo, is worth losing some melee/ranged defense for (high end pve stuff will hit you regardless) just buy some tapes or food to make up for your loss

I am a TKM so bleeds aren't that big of a deal for meand am freeing up enough sp to either go 0040 or 2130. I am hunting jedi mostlyso the fights are high damage and don't take very long(a couple minutes at the most) andkeeping my mind pool high is a BIG deal. With that said which template would you suggest?
