Thread: How much should I charge for Stim B's

I've got a factory working and I want to mass product Stim B's for sale. Currently, I figure a 4 cr per resource for a final sale of 400 cr per stim. Is this out of line with what the market will pay? More or less?

I charge based on the number of charges and effectiveness of the stims. Of course, I have to hand make mine at the time, so they tend to be unpredictable to an extent. I wouldn't pay 400 cr for a 19 charge stim-B 160, but that's a great deal for more effective stim-B's that a doctor would make. My advice is to work out a system for pricing based on the quality of the stims. If you have good experimentations skills, you may make even more money that way.

It depends on the demand and how much competition there is on your server. I was the first on my server to make and sell Stim B with more than 200 base heal. I'm now at 342/25 thanks to 158-power liquid suspensions (other components are still the same), but I'm supplying my guild instead of selling them.

When I first made the 200+ versions, people were willing to pay 700 credits per stim. I gradually came down to 600 then 500 as my competition got better. Now that I'm at 342/25 I'm pretty sure I could sell them for 700-800 because the competition is still in the 200s

my prizes are: charges / 10 * healpower.

lets take a 302/32 stim B, that would be 2/10*302=966credits
or 244/21 stim B, 21/10*244=512credits

pretty simple and sells very fast on bazar. Works only for stim B, good luck looking for someone pay you 2500credits for stim D

I do 500 each and sell out every time I put them in the bazaar. Last run was 243base 31 charges.

I have a friend that could always sell his reject stims at 750 with no problem. I see unexperimented stims on the bazaar for 300-750. But I've tried selling ca. 300 power stims at 1K and can't, so I'm guessing that 750 is about the limit from my server and that hardly anybody looks at the quality before buying.

I'd also suggest that if you make high power/charges B stims to sell, that you put the number of charges and base heal value in the name of the stim. That makes it much more noticable that it is betterto the people just browsing the bazaar, and thus much more likely to sell ata price above the crappy B stims. A lot of the people quickly browsing just look at name and price.

As a non-medic combat class (Marksman)for HQ (300/28)stim-B's I'd easily pay around 600-800cr per stimpack.

Since I'm a non-medic I'm just curious, is there set amount of mind points a stim B drains per use?

Would it be better for me to have a higher willpower or focus when using these stims?

Sorry if this subject was brought up in the past...I searched for a related thread with no luck.

Any extra info I missed about using Stim's would be great.

Thanks in advance,

Gryyder

I have max focus and willpower instead of max mind. Regeration and usage are so much better.

I also carry around and create food to keep my focus, willpower and mind up as high as possible. K18 rations and aitha are easy to make and are really useful.

Gryyder: It is not possible to experiment down the mind cost, though that is a capital idea! Eating food or otherwise buffing your Focus or Willpower (I forget which) would reduce the mind cost, however.

Yes always put the heal and charges in the name. It's also an opportunity to advertise yourself.
