Any time someone brings up an idea to add to the game, someone else has to say 'Want x, go play x". Why is that? It's not an argument in and of itself, it's simply an inane comment that serves no purpose.

Mind healing was in-game. The game was designed with Mind Damage healing as PART of the process. The issue is that the Devs took it out due to an exploit WITHOUT replacing it with something else. With me so far? Hope so.

Now the problem is how to Reimplement mind damage healing. Got that? Good.

So you don't want to have mind damage healing in-game? Go play solitaire.

I do play solitaire and often take aspirin afterwards, however I am not a fan of condescending tones

If you read around s/he has posted this exact same post at least twice... drop the whole mind healing issue it's fine without it. If you die, you die get over it. it is kinda crappy to lay there on mind, but i'm not about to moan about it, there should be the unpredictable, the unfixable. If they put in mind healing; if they reinstate mind healing, as i've said before, I will exploit the hell out of it just to get it taken out again. I do not exploit. But I feel this is a fair exception. Some people want everything given to them. If you can heal everything that everyone does to you what is the challenge? i am a master doc, should i now be an eilte combat profession because I can heal everything that you can throw at me? if you get incapped on mind a lot, increase your mind pool or take some muon gold, just watch that downer, don't cry out for a dev to change something to suit yourself, i've gotten this far int eh game easily enuf without any damned mind healing and I am a huge fan of it staying where it is, gone.

For someone who isn't fond of condescending attitude, your sure do offer it freely to others.

As I've said time and time again, mind healing will not imbalance the game nor make us invulnerable or invincible. It will simply mean that tactics in combat will change, it means that people will find a new recipe for winning in PvP. It means that High-End hunting groups will not be stopped dead by a random mind hit.

In short it opens more avenues for adventure, grouping, and PvP.

And not once did I ever ask to have anything 'handed' to me. Mind healing was taken from me. I'd simply like it back. And if not to OUR profession, then at least give it to Someone, anyone, as long as it gets reimplemented.

Obviously you fail to see that, and simply prefer the status-quo. Forgive me, but the status-quo isn't enough for me.

All you people care about is PVP... The problem is the increasing numbers of creatures who attack mind pools. Living on Naboo, you get Shaupats and Spineflaps causing mind damage with no way to heal it, thus negating the benefit of having a doctor in the group. Give somebody the ability to heal mind damage in combat, and I don't care who, or reduce the amount of mind damage these creatures do.

As for PVP, I don't know. I don't do it, that isn't where the problem lies for me. I'm sure whatever happens to the game, you guys will find a way to grief each other and take the fun out of it, so why worry? I'm more concerned about those of us who are actually trying to get something accomplished in the game.
