Ahh, but now anyone can have a pet with a good amount of HAM. It still is just a trivial matter to buy a few stimpacks and acquire a pet to have an insta-heal factory travelling by your side. It circumvents the need for a medic to even step foot into a medical center, and effectively breaks that particular game mechanism.

People complain that medic is easy to master, but most of them have gone other directions first. Trying to earn master medic isnt that easy or that fast. You still have to add in the time for missions to make money, crafting time, and the time it takes sometimes to find patients.

yeah question ummm if i am 4/0/4/0 what kind of stims will i be able to use.. i tried looking that one up on the game.. couldnt figure it out.. i hear u can heal 1200 on all stats, which is why i am doing it.... any info would be great thanks alot

A master medic with damage treatment BE clothing and good stim Es can heal 2-2.6k of damage per heal.
Good stim Bs are around 400 power
Good stim Cs are mid 600 power
Good stime Es are 'around' 1-1.2k power, I think...been a while since I made my last factory run and looked at the stats.
I don't use stim Ds for some reason...I probably decided they used to many resources for the stats they gave.

I never make them either. Even for those with pharm 4, a 40 med use stim E is about 50% more powerful than a stim D at the same skill level. The only stims I usually carry for my own use are stim Es (1200+) and area Cs.

So at 4/0/4/0 what will be my healing powers.. can i use E stims or do i have to master medic to be able to use them?? Sorry if the questions are stupid.. i am new to the prof. like i said and just need some help figuring out what i am going to do. Thanks alot and help is appreciated.

You can use Stim Es if they are experimented down to 40 med use. You'll have to find a good crafting doc to supply them.

Gathering that you wish to make your own stim packs, I leave the chemistry line alone and look at the others. You would need to improve your Paramacology line to allow you to use better stim packs then StimB, so we push that up to box four. The other 2 trees don't need to be maxed out, they are speed and bonus treatment, good to have but with good stims it not be a strong factor. I would however take firstaid2, this gives you bleed treatment.
All up I would suggest you spend your points as 2/1/4/4, gives you good componets and experimentation, the skill to use your home made stims, +35% bonus injury treatment and cure bleeding.

Pharm 1 is totaly useless. There are no meds with med use between 6 and 29. The crafting line isn't going to do anything for you either, because you'll still want to buy your meds from a master doc as they can make them much better. I would go 4240, or 3240 and pick up ranged support 2 for a little bit more melee defense and aiming.

Once i Master Creature Handler & Rifleman i'll have 50 points left (marksman 4xx1 for aim) to spend on Medic. This allows me enough points for two 4 box lines, one 2 box and a single box. I was thinking 4214 - would this be of use to me or could anyone please suggest something more suitable?

Thanks for the replies, decided that i'm not going to be makign my own stims, i'll buy better ones than i can make 
So far i'm at 2030 and will decide after i've hit my Rifles and CH masters where to put the other points... missing master scout though now as i can'r /ex a critter to see there CL, oh well, i'd rather live longer anyway
