Hah, yeah I grinded medic that way when my character was grinding for doc. Healed some pilot and he tipped me 100k just for not using a tumbler. Seems to me at least its an honest way to get xp, I always felt cheap using a tumbler.

It got me to 0-2-4-0 doc, where I could start buffing (with low stats mind you) for much more xp.

he ehe he... you wake from your shuttle ride to find out that all your wounds have healed and that you now have a low stat buff in place (perfect for most of everyday duties and you can always reapply if you need high level content).

Man... thats is SOOO cool!

There are, it has been said, two types of people in the world. There are those who, when presented with a glass that is exactly half full, say: this glass is half full. And then there are those who say: this glass is half empty. The world belongs, however, to those who can look at the glass and say: What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass!

Well, admittedly I asked permission before I buffed anyone. A buddy took one, then learned he couldn't reapply at the auto he used later.. I felt pretty bad that his usualy 2400 buffs wern't possible, and he was stuck with somewhere around 1500, lol.

Why was that? I thought you could reapply for as long as the new buff was higher than the previous?

by the way which worm? I trust a tequila one.

Actually, I'm not sure, but I think it had something to do with it being a buffbot.

And yes, a mezcal (close to tequila) worm You'd be surprised at how many people don't get it, lol.

I used this method to master medic/doc in a couple days. Made extra wound packs during down time to cover crafting xp.... although that might no longer be an issue. :/

Of note, once you hit 0-2-4-0 doc, you can buff, and that gives 1/2 xp for each point in the buff. So if you're hitting 1900, you'd get 5700 xp per person (950*6). Once I hit 0-2-4-0, I made it to 4-4-4-0 in no time at all.

Where can I get a medic droid? I've checked venders and bazzar and couldn't find one. Are they hard to find or do I have to have one made by a droid engineer? And if I do need one made, do I just ask someone?

Medical droids should not be hard to find. They can be of any model (they DON'T have to have the surgical droid chassis) as long as they have a "medical module" in them. If you examine the droid deed, it should say something like "Medical capability rating: 110" or something like that - that means it's a medical droid. (The 110 is pretty standard. If you find a medical droid with a rating lower than that, don't get it.) If you can't find one on the vendor search, just ask any droid engineer...he or she should be able to make you a droid with a 110 medical module for pretty cheap, provided you get one with a basic chassis and no bells and whistles.

And kiss it goodbye in the CU. Have to be grouped with in combat peeps for med xp now.

I seriously think they are hurting the medic profession (along with doc)

A funny way to grind medicxp afk with an entertainer: the medic /quickheals the entertainer which gives him battlefatigue/mindwounds, the entertainer flourishes away thus using action while healing the battlefatigue/mindwounds of the medic . VERY slow though.

Get yourself a med droid, about 150 Strength and Health Woundpacks (B) and go to Coronet Starport and heal everyone as they get off the shuttle? I grinded 9 boxes in 3 hours...and the xp for Doctor and Combat Medic

well i tried this method and i was yelled at more times than i care to say. They all say quit leeching of me. Gezze i feel that we are provideing a service and i am doing it free of charge unless they want to tip and they yell at me. After the slew of "noob quit healing me" and the pure anger i get after the fack of doing it. SO it not like i can take it back. In the spew of i hate noobs and so on they say the key word i was saving that for my guild healer.....

God i hate people that throw out noob word when they know nothing about me.
