Thread: Help experimentation??
ooc/ Thanks for all the help. When I log on this weekend I am gonna grab me the new crafting box. Sit at the station and work my little fingers off. My first Stims were awful and it seems that my Wound medicine was pretty bad also. Of course I didn't know anything about components either. I am hoping that my new components will work better.
I am dancing my way through med school so I was taking any thing I could get in the way of resources. I thinkI was using low gradealuminum and some kind of hideousmeat. That meat smelled awful, customers in the cantina were standing far away from me that day. Needless to saymy tips were bad, and the band asked me to go to the hotel to take ashower.I should have listened to ma ma when she told me to work as an artisan instead of a dancer to get through med school. Oh well I guess some Twi'lek's have to learn the hard way. This sad little student hasn't even made it outside of the city yet. Well just beyond the gates, but I came screaming back home when I attacked a log outside the city and its keepers were very unhappy with me. Who knew some creature would be so protective of a piece of drift wood. I guess ma ma kept this little Twi'lek kid sheltered because my travels to Talus were exciting, but once I got there I was totally unprepared. Ma Ma was a freed slave. That I did know about her. She was a dancer, and I being her daughter seemed to inherit those skills. Of course I just knew I would make the big time once I got to talus, but the cantina's are full of dancers just as, if not more talented than me. Luckily the Cantina I dance inseems to be a respectable one so far. I haven't seen any lap dancing going on and most of the customers are respectful.Med school is starting to get expensive. The tips are good, but its harder than I thought. Good thing for me one of my band members makes clothing. Otherwise I would still be dancing in my traveling clothes. She was also kind enough to make me some professional looking clothes for the days I spend working on my medicine or in the Medical center. Thanks Chealsi!!!!
Luckily for me I have a Scout friend. She is helping me get resources now and is going to take me outon a missionthis weekend. I am hoping to make enough money shaking it at the Cantina to get a medical droid. Then I will be even more useful. A really kind wookie tipped me with a nice gun the other day. Well I think its nice any way because he told me it was. (I don't know anything about guns) So hopefully this little dancer/medic will be able to help out more than just in the areas of mind and health. Who knows maybe someday when I go home to see Ma Ma I will have lots of stories to tell her, and make her proud.
Thanks again
Thats a tough question...
I find tha i have better results using 3-5 points a try...
anything over that seems to not only provide less effect per point, but hurts more even on moderate failures...
Many of the people i craft with all use them in 3-5 bunches...some even say go 1 at a time but thats just too much time to spend on a component
I also destroy all subcomponents which didn't succeed experimentation.
Read the recently posted guide to crafting, it helped to clarify a little in my mind.
After you do that, just go play with it for a while and see what works for you! :-D
