elenora yet another thing to consider. i had not thought about that. so that would mean having to find a medic stimC supplier who has chosen effectiveness and ease of use instead of max charges. plus it also means FA3 and pharm3 which equal out to 33 points.

FA 3 would mean better heals from stims and better bleed stoppage...

Pharm 3 is lower use stim Cs...Post patch the Stim Cs are now 30-31 already meaning that there is very little loss if anyin quality for lowering med use...I am currently making 30 charge Stim Cs with just over 400 heal values and med use 30...

any masterchemist should be able to make u effective lower use stim Cs...

I would go FA3 Pharm 3...

i went home at lunch and ran aquick heal test and it made up my mind. pharm3 FA3 and see if i can find enough med-use skill enhancers to bump me up to 35 from 30. so worst case if i have to buy cheap made stimC off the bazzar i can in an emergency. thanks to all i wont bother bumping my med skills up anymore then since im already at pharm3 and FA3 i should learn to use those skills at that level in combat.

now to find skill enhancers..... *sigh* its always something

I was making some Stim Cs last night for a CH friend using regular BECs, CRDMs, and advanced LSs. I usually got stims with 30 skill and close to 500 or low 600 point base heals. I'm not even a Master Doc yet, and they'd get better with good Advanced BECs andCRDMsSo, you should be able to find good Stim Cs.

Barb-wire,

As for looking for medical clothing, you can get it from Tailors that use Bio-engineered components. You'd want something that uses passive bio-sensors (BE Tissues II) or active bio-sensors (BE Tissues IV). Those bio-sensors can be put in Synthetic Cloth panels and incorporated into clothing. Since BE's can't use factories yet, you'd need to look into which clothing uses non-identical Synthetic Cloth panels, and then have the Tailor make that item for you. (Spec-Ops duster is one such item.)

Unfortunately, in that last big patch, Bio-Engineer components are no longer showing up on clothing. I have a dress with +9 to 3 different medical skills (made pre-patch), but it's not working. So, watch the patch messages and the BE board and as soon as that's fixed, pick yourself up some gear.

Thing about getting PH3 instead of PH4 is that the stim-C's wont be as good since a lot of experiment points go into relaxing use requirements instead of boosting charges or heal value.

Have any of you crafted a stim C or D since the big patch? It could be related to doc crafting, but my stim C's are 30 medicine use pre-experimentation, and stim D's are 40MU.

Let's see...with pretty good resources and advanced parts, I just made a Stim D rated at 795/48/40MU. A stim C came out 537/39/30MU. The values can go probably go even higher, but if you take these as average advanced stims, Pharm III is probably good enough if skill points are an issue.

I would go FA3 and PH3, maybe switch FA3 for Diagnostics if you find you are taking damage faster than you can heal. I would hope not, though.

I say keep what you have now and keep experimenting Stims C down to 30. Use good quality components and you will almost always succeed. Later on you can buy med modded wear so that you don't even have to experiment your Stims C. This when they will be fixed... and God knows when.
