Well, the whole thread has a TEF theme to it, but the original question asks the difference between overt and covert, and how to tell that difference.
By the way, cheesy trick #2: Ctrl-P, Search tab, search for a faction. It will list people in the area that have that faction. That way you can tell right away as well.
I've never known anyone to use half their brain. Humans only use a tenth. :-)
