i kind of agree, or maybe keep As at 5 med skill but still allow players to use them like uncerted weapons. They'll maybe heal for 1/2 what they would for a medic but it still helps accelarate the healing process.

something like that was my thought but i dunno heh

You know i think that is a good idea as well its not like they will do much other then get a buddy back up just enough for you two to run away right? 80 heal or so will not change a battle too much in my opinion.

Agreed, to an extent. Removing the med use would do nothing, because you'd still need the /healdamage command to use them. You'd need to create a stim like the pet stims that don't use that command.

Also I would suggest some stipulations, that they would be affected by the lack of having the treatment lines, so they would be slow and low healing, but useful in a pinch, Plus it would finally give medics a form of income at lower levels, since Docs pretty much have most of the Stim B market locked up and we all know that tips usually are not something to be relied upon at all. It's definitel been discussed here plenty of times before. I suppose I should put it in a seperate issue, even though it is listed a suggestions in parts of some of the other issues.

CDEF-Stim A. Universally usable by anyone without the necessity of Novice Medic.

Has been brought up before, but doesn't hurt to bring it up again

Lol, docs will lock-up any market that uses medical crafting.

Their products will always be better =/

Not necesarily, T. In the Case of Stim As the power variation level is so darned small anyway, and no Advanced Components are used to mess with the mix, that overall I think Medics actually could compete to some level in that market despite their lessor EPs. Maybe I should add, though, that perhaps one suggestion would also be to revoke that one schematic at Novice Doctor. Not sure if they can get schematic revocation back in, but that would help to limit the market some so Doctors don't pinch out the Medics.

It would have to be revoked at Novice Doc, or even soonerI think.

You know how many Stim A's I could make compared to some n00b medic? I could make literally Millions of the suckers, and sell them for almost nothing. No way a n00b medic with no factory, and only manually sampling resources would compete with a Doc who has a large resource infrastructure.

It most definately would need to be revoked sooner then novice doc. If anything it should be revoked at OC III or IV.

Ok, that's it. I went ahead and even added this issue (just updated it to include the shcematic revocation idea as well) and not one single person who has posted in this entier thread, other than me, has even voted on anything in the wishlist section, let along this issue.

So since you guys have bothered to comment the lest you can do is actually get those comments in front of the Devs by VOTING! If you don't vote I will just be forced to rip you arms off! Then againbeing the altruistic Wookiee that I am I'll probably just sew them back on.

I was kind of wondering about that as well. It seems to me that you could presumably keep at least something within Medic itself by keeping that through Master Medic. I was trying to figure out why it would be all that beneficial to revoke of OC3 or even 4. The only one I could come up with would be to keep it as a market only for realtively lower level Medics, but I think just giving anything unique like that through all of Medic would be nice and useful. At least then you could maintain some level of market variability, since most markets tdo break down into low, mid and high levels. Maybe that will also be true in the Stim A arena if something like that were made universal.
