I am currently covert because I like to do a lot of soloing. But the other day I saw an overt member of my faction being attacked by 2 of the opposit faction and I wanted to help.

1) How do I switch overt/covert on the fly?

2) Can I target my brother and type /assist?

3) Do I need to do something like heal him first leaving myself open to allow them to have the first shot at me?

I am sure you can "HotKey" it.

CTRL A will list all your actions and you can drag it up to one of the "F" keys above (F1 - F12).

That should do it.

I think you can "hotkey" it. I am sure you can add a Overt button and Covert button by assigning it to one of your F-keys.

For example. I switch between my Laser Rifle and Laser Carbine and Pistol all the time. Instead of having to hit "CTRL I" and select the new weapon (As doing this everytime). I assigned my Rifle to F6, my Carbine to F7, and my Pistol to F8.

Now I just hit the button to switch. I am sure you can do that for Overt and Covert. I know you can forHeadshot (F9)and Bodyshot (F10).

I guess it is possible that it is not an option, but I would think it is.

You're kidding, right?

YouCANNOT hotkey Overt / Covert!

You can however heal another person from your faction that is under attack and this will give you a TEF (Temporary Enemy Flag) which will allow you to attack the person(s) attacking your faction member yourself.

Or you can run to the nearest faction recruiter and switch to overt!

Well you can also be grouped with an overt member as well, this would allow you to attack the opposite faction member.

But other than that, I believe that is the only way

hi all,

Yesterday, i had my first pvp encounter. I was in a group and one of my guildies was attacked by 3rebels. I attacked the rebels and tried to send my pet to them, but it didn´t work. My pet didn´t attack them.

Why is that?

Im Covert at the moment. My guildie is Overt.

Yup, that was what i thought.

Since we are attacking someone we should be able tocommand our pets to attack them
