I would assume that it was because you were covert that the pets would not attack them, but if you were able to attack them while covert, it doesn't make much sense. Could have just been another wonderful bug for CH's to deal with...sorry I'm not much help.

Only works on NPCs.

Untested but personal observation. I was camo'd during PvP, I was hunting nearby, I ran in, joined and engaged. I engaged a pet beating on a buddy. Healed buddy. Pet should have aggro'd on me, I think, as I was shooting it and healed it's target. It never even glanced my way, ran thru me eventually to get to player 1. Was slightly killed by mean old rebels. Master was lying incapped, but these are the breaks.

Guessing pet never saw me, or decided to ignore me, which is odd as Rangers draw pets and beasts like honey gets flies.

Then again, maybe I got lucky, dunno.

I had that happen to me too, during a raid, i was fighting some imperials, and during a break, i popped on camo, and the pets had no desire to kill me. If the player had sent him on me, that may have been different.

In a nutshell...yes, camo is not worth doo doo in PvP, players can see you big as day.

Don't wish to be invisible, it has been stated by the powers that yam that invisibility is a non starter.

Subject change - pets and traps - WOOOO FREAKING HOOOOO

CHs of the world beware - Dithmir this means your silly Impie butt - I will trap the living snot out of their pets then dance on their graves.

Well, ok, no grave dancing, I am too lazy to dig holes for Imp pets. I will use the garbage disposal for the remains, if there are any.

im a new master rifleman, and i am not a custom to pvp and i wanted to know how cover works in pvp, does it make us invisible or does it have no effect, any info would be well received

i would suggest not using /takecover... as you will die

you see, as soon as you go prone, you get rushed, and you cant fire while they can.

so... stick to npc spawns for its use, if you ever go prone that is.

Get yourself a Jawa Ion Rifle sliced/poweruped, eat some food/drink or take muon to boost your Mind,spam headshot2, and bob and weave like your life depended on it ('cause it does). Don't stop till you drop.

/takecover is going to do you no good in pvp.
