I have chars on 3 diff servers and could not believe it when i saw the price of resources. They have gone to prices i can not believe. Just crap grinding stuff has gone to 5-8 cpu. Good stuff on some venders has gone to 20+ cpu. This is insane folks. You are hurting the whole comunity when you do things like this. The ppl who will pay for this in the long run are not going to be the crafters but the ppl who buy from the crafters.

hey, resource vendors have to make money you know! were not mindless monsteres stealing your money, i EARN the cpu i sell my iron for, you dont like it buy your own harvesters!

Don't charge astronomical amounts that are un-founded, except for greed. This makes things harder for the community, and will eventually come back and bite thesguys on their arses.

Yes...but the only other alternative is to become an artisan and mine the resources yourself. The artisans know you won't do that...so in essence, they know you'll pay the inflated price.
It's a win-lose situation.
It's been like this since release: nothing new.

I am all for the ppl out getting resources making money. What i am not for is making the cpu for those resources so high that in order for the crafters to make money they must charge insane amounts to just make thier money back. It just does not seem right to me that a resource yesterday you where charging 2 cpu for and happy to get that you are now charging 10cpu. There is nothing you can say or post here that will make me change my mind on this. I saw some grinding steel on my server that was going for 15cpu. That is just taking advantage of ppl.

Not really, tax is hard enough IRL so bothering with it in game is annoying, there is an income tax though if your vendor is in a city.
Though would be a wise decisiion to force vendors to be inside cities instead of outside them.

the sales tax goes to the city, and is effectively not removed from circulation.. though it usually does go towards city maintenance then..

Good grief how narrow minded - if you don't like it - get your own harvesters - otherwise shut up - I'm not selling resources myself but I'm tempted to as it's a good way to fund the ships I'm going to want
