Thread: Am I the only one that thinks JTLS is way too EZ?

Nope, not even close. If you were smart and observant, you'd know who to target first which made multiple jousting mobs almost a non issue.

Heh. Even the jousting AI was easy to beat, once you figured out all you had to do was stop and blast them as they came in.

This another misstep by the devs. They are alienating the average gamer by making Jtl super hard and forcing them to stop levelling.
So what you're saying is, EVERYBODY, regardless of skill, should be able to grind pilot all the way to master, eh?
Then what the heck is the point in the game being twitch based? Why didn't they just make it like Earth and Beyond? In that game, you didn't actually aim at anything, you just kind of turned your ship in the general direction of the enemy, pressed the mouse button, and, if your weapons were high enough level, you'd do enough damage to destroy them.
In other words, turn it into the same mindless xp grind that the ground game has become.
JTL is FAR from super hard. Some people are just better atspace sim games than others. I know I'm not that good at them myself, but with only one or two wingman, I was able to complete all my missions. Then, 5 or 6 of us went after the vette for master at the same time, and with that many, it blows up real easy.
Yes and those people who are hard core sim players will get no challenge out of a AI ever, either they have to be swamped in which those players with lowSituational Awareness would get creamed while the Vet runs a fighting retreat.
The only real challenge will be another player for those who are skilled at these type of games.
I mean come on this is a arcade simulator, not a true one, you can not use flight sim maneuvers in it as speed does not drop in turns or climb type maneuvers.
If you are not being challenged enough down grade your equipment till you are, like try a tier 1 ship in kessel or deep space.
The top fighter ace of all time only had 352 kills.
I agree. Seems this game has been made harder because of the few power gamers. Though, in my opinion, they made some things too easy because of a few that didn't like the struggle to get started. Some of the changes, again in my opinion, should really be rolled back. New content, of course, is great. Give the power gamer something else to do. Don't just punish the rest of us by nerfing everything to make our trip to ace pilot many times more challenging.

I'm a reb pilot and am 3/3/3/3 i'm gonna get 4/3/3/3 and think i'm gonna have to stop there.
for some people yes jtls does seem easy, but there are people like me who find it quite difficult.
leave the difficulty lvl of the game as it is. i would like the option of being able to beat tier 3-4 mobs if i feel like it.as it stands now i still have trouble with multiple tier 4's.
so the difficulty lvl of the game is fine, dont increase it just because of a few more hardcore pilots are more vocal than the not so hardcore pilots.

Another thing I've noticed is the AI on missions where you've got 'helper' npc ships. They just sit there and get blown away without doing anything really. That needs improved.
Since this seems to be a coding issue though; I don't have an answer for it.
