Well, since we know joysticks are going to be supported, what kind of joysticks do yall recommend?
There are a few im lookin at, but i have no clue what im lookin for =p

As I said in the other thread regarding the X52. HOTAS setups aren't for everyone. If you're not a sim junkie, do yourself a favor and go single-stick.
Considering Sidewinder torpedoed their Sidewinder line, my next choice would be any Logitech joystick with a twisting handle. In space and mech games, a twisting handle is a godsend.

has anyone been using a joystick. i have the microsoft sidewinder and wanted to know how it works.

I just bought a Logitech Extreme 3d Pro. I love it. Plus, I can bind my commonly used ship commands to the 6 buttons on the base if I wanted to. Which I do.

Agreed, the Saitek is a great stick especially if you play flight sims. I'm a flight sim junkie so I went out and spent $300 on the Thrustmaster Cougar. But if you just need a joystick to play JTL, you can't go wrong with a MS Sidewinder...
