I've heard different stories concerning pvp in space. Someone just said you have to be a Master Ace in order to pvp.
Some how that dosen't sound right.
Also what exactly is Kessel and how do you get there?

Kessel is PvP airspace, I don't know how to get there (Sorry), and you don't have to be master to PvP, but you do have to PvP to Master at least i've heard ;-)

C'mon no one knows how to get to the Kessel or more info on pvp?

There are poi's in different sectors that transport you to pvp zones. They are usually stations you have to converse with.

In order to get to Kessel and Deep SPOace PvP zone you must be master and use prestige points.

You do _not_ have to be master to go to kessel. For my Imperial comrads you can go to Endor imperial deep space station to go either area but only kessel is open to those of us under ace I beleive.

You can PvP anywhere, if you're declared and your enemy is declared. However, there are no TEFS in space. PvP zones are open PvP, no need to declare.

How did none of you know how to answer that?
Look, you go to your respective space station (rebel or imperial) wherever and talk to them, then ask to go overt/enable PVP. You DO NOT go overt on the ground and then go into space to PVP (if you can, please tell me it works, but don't just speculate). To get to kessel you need to find a deep space station (ctrl+v and find one in the sector you're in if there is one), try Dantooine sector for that. Then you tell them you want to go to Kessel or Deep Space.

You can also target a player ship and type../duel...just like on the ground....we were doing this when we played the devs in beta...

Finally.
What Ivet wrote,seems to be the best option.
The pvp zone, Kessel and a few other subjects should of been addressed a lot better and clearer by soe. Judging by the answers here and inside there are many people who don't really know the right answer to this. All thats been said is that Kessel is a pvp zone but nothing else, not how to get there or what to do when you do.
Hope they read this and start addressingit the way it should be.

The station for Rebels is in Dantooine, for Freelance it's in Dathomir, and for Imperial it's in Endor. You can only get to the PvP sectors from the specific station for your faction.
