A BWing should be a powerful piece of equipment... Not just a thing to point fingers of and laugh when people fly them in PvP

ok just recently started trying this out... and i dont quite get it...
all it seems to be is ppl turning as fast as they can in circles trying to get off a stray shot... :S
any tips or pointers on how to make it at least some sort of fun challenge would be appreciated
This is the way PvP has evolved. Jousting, unless you are quick and lucky, is normally deemed a bad thing. As you don't know what the other guy is packing. It's like being in a Western shootout, both normally end up dead, or if you are lucky, you may manage to get a shot off before the other guy, and dodge his fire. After the initial pass, it then turns into a furball. The trend is for high PYR on engines, to give the pilot more chance of evading your opponents blaster fire. There was a trend where people had faster engines, but on engaging a higher PYR where they ended up dead, people realised that they neded to fight fire with fire, thus switching to a higher PYR engine.
With the advent of the new POB's, we may see a new trend, to higher shields and armour, thus people will have to sacrifice either firepower, or engine mass to combat these Leviathans. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks/months to PvP.
I'm an avid Chimaerian PvPer, and I'm always looking for a challenge. I've yet to see an elite ImpPOB in DS, but I'm certainly looking forward to the encounter. it may mean switching to my heavy X-Wing in order to dent those massive shields, or, I may be able to skoot round it in my JSF jabbing away, and dodging those uber Elite weapons and missiles.

In fact, I'm still in the midst of a project I've been working on for a while now which addresses certain starfighter strategies and a few general points of common sense with diagrams.
If the quality of the diagrams is greater than this and you don't mind having me as an editor, I'd very much like to publish this on spaceLoot.com when it's ready for prime time.
Lol yeh they will be. In fact, the diagrams aren't so much detailed starship pictures than '3d' blocks and arrows with labelled vectors. I'm keeping it neat and easy to understand.
