I dont understand why I am given my Imperial Ace Items and I cannnot drop them in my house to display for my guild. I am hoping this was a bug and being addressed in a patch soon. If it isnt, I think we need to have this changed because there is nothing else I can do with these items except put it in the bank or put it on me. Thats majorly annoying, Anyone have any info on this topic OR Feel the same way I do?

It was probably a lousy attempt on their part to keep non-aces from getting the equipment.

No-drop equipment is annoying.

This is odd, I put my ace jacket in my Decimator with no problems. I see many people putting their ace gear in the MPS ships. It works and it can look cool.

I think this sucks. Personally I put all my valuable stuff in my house on display. i am forced to do so because if you get killed wearing them it decays. The devs always seem to come up with these totally retarded ideas then are forced to retreat from them. How about using some common sense in the beginning devs? It would save a lot of complaints and disatisfaction later on. If you don't want none Ace using the stuff then make it untradable.

The problem is, if you make something untradeable but it can still be dropped or put in a bag, it's still tradeable. You can admin someone on your house and have them pick it up, trade it in a container, etc. How do you propose to make equipment untradeable while keeping houses and containers functioning the way they are? Or, can you live with being able to display your uber items in your home, knowing that people who didn't earn them can still acquire them?

Here's a thought: Would you accept having an option on a house to where (if you enable it) you can drop otherwise no-drop items for display purposes, but if you choose that option, no one else can be admin on that house? I can think of other things, like display cases with restricted access, but the no-other-admin option seems like the most likely change to accomodate display of such items.

The devs need to figure out a way around this. Their current solution sucks.

How about I own the item and I can do whatever I want with the item. ITS MINE! Its like say you can breathe the air but we arent not going to let you exhale!

having taken a C++ class in school, i cant even comprehend how dificult it is to alter a program of this magnitude, so give em a little break. Its not like they flip a switch and its done, or sit down for five mintures and fix it. Takes time to change it, test it, and launch it.

Then you really know know C++ very well. If your a good programmer this isnt that hard to do. Your just creating new models and the way it looks in different angels. Thats why people at SOE do for a living
