Thread: Okay, LET'S DO THIS CONSTRUCTIVELY SO THE DEVS WILL NOTICE! RE: KESSEL
However, being an anti-ground PvP myself, I also understand the viewpoint that players should not be forced into PvP. So, I propose this idea:
4444 pilots can do a strictly PvE mission outside of Kessel to become "Master". Master rewards remain the same, including MP ships.
Masters can then take the PvP/PvE mission in Kessel to become "Ace". Ace rewards are perhaps other ships/clothing (probably fighters, as that's what aces do, they fight).
Those that have already Mastered (before this implementation), will then have to fill the required PvP number of kills that give the "Ace" title and rewards.
This will let those who do not wish to PvP be masters, those that wish to PvP prove themselves further, and it fits in with the devs idea of making Ace pilot like jedi - rare and exceptional.
Any fine-tuning or rebuttals are more than welcome. Thanks!!

The main thing that is odd to me is that the multiplayer ships, which are completely useless in pvp are behind a wall of forced pvp. I would wager that the majority of the people that want to use these ships are the pve crowd. I know for myself i would love to be able to take friends up and engage in pve together in one of the multiplayer ships. Does anyone even bother taking these things to the pvp zones after they get them? I mean they are sitting ducks for even someone in a tie interceptor sitting and camping the hyperspace point.
Why is a reward that is suited more to a pve player gated by pvp.

Please, reread what I said. The current master rewards remain the same for the PvE'ers, including the MP ships.
The PvP ace rewards should be fighters, as that's what ace's do. They fight.

First, I'd like to say, please no flaming in this thread. Let's keep it constructive with relevent ideas to make JTL fun for everyone, as well as maintain the RP aspect we are all here looking for. That being said:
There is quite the controversy going on inhere about the master mission being in Kessel. Seems there are many that think that everyone and their grandma should be able to be master pilot.

Completely unecessary.
All that needs to be done is transfer the mission to a non-PvP zone.
Viola! Problem all taken cared of with no additional codeing necessary.

I don't know. I'm still not sold on the idea of an uber reward to make the obsessive more powerful. Look how badly it has worked with Jedi.
Well, both master and ace would have lvl 10 certs. The only thing that would change is the art of the fighter, giving neither the upper hand.

My definition of fun is forcing everyone to come to me to PvP for the title. If you take that away, then you take my fun away and your premise, stated above, no longer holds true for everyone. I may have the minority opinion, but I am not alone in this point of view.
okay I guess thats sarcasm as I guess from your post behind mine.
/agreed with the original poster that this might be a way.
