Thread: Devs: Will those under 18 be elligible for the Flash Speeder?

I know this has been posted a few times before, but I wanted to post it with a clear subject line.
I don't recall it being mentioned anywhere that pre-order Beta would be restricted to those under 18: Gamestop does not list it in their restrictions section (http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=B645466A#ship ), and SOE's site states "[preorders will] receive guaranteed access to the Jump to Lightspeed beta test in October and an exclusive in-game ground vehicle: the Naboo Flash Speeder" (http://starwarsgalaxies.station.sony.com/content.jsp?page=JTL%20Pre-Order%20Available).
I'm not as concerned about the Beta, but this raises questions about the speeder. The preorder box outlines the application process, which can not be completed by those under 18 (There's not a box to check or anything, we've entered our information months ago and the servers bounce us back if our ages are invalid).
The information on the flash speeder reads: "Following the Pre-Order Beta registration process (outlined above) ensures that you will receive your Flash Speeder the Very first time you enter the live Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed (the full version) game." If we're under 18, we have no way to follow the process and ensure that we will receive our speeder.
So, will those under 18 be able to receive the Flash Speeder? Is there anything we can do to ensure this? A developer response would be very much appreciated.

I sure hope so. I don't mean to sound like a whiner, either, but I'm a bit pissed off with the pre-order situation. I wouldn't mind if the CDs came late, hell, just as long as I got what I paid for. Apparently that's not so. Oh well, what can ya do?

I just asked the same thing earlier today. I could give a rats behind about getting into beta myself, but I want my gift for preordering regardless of whether I'm 18 or not.

do we have to clear space for it in our datapad?
If I have an av21, a swoopbike and a speederbike, will I still get the flash speeder or will I get a message telling me to free space, or do I miss out?

This is what troubles me...why can't S.O.E make a simple announcment about the damn speeder and answer all the simple questions. In all honesty Pre-order goodies are not that big of a deal (JTL Pre-order is though of course). I've never seen something so goofy as this, S.O.E is making this out to be a feasco. Like many other's I couldent care less about getting into Beta,I much rather play the retail version. I'm just mad on how S.O.E won'tanswer thesimplequestions.

Something i gotta add - The international order of JTL from gamestop says you get speeder without Beta disks. As Im in UK and not in beta surely ill get my speeder as Gamestop stated?
Maybe the speeder will be sent out on a seperate disk or a code emailed to people ?
