got triple incapped by a plasma thing lost 200k of xp.
im sure i read somewhere it said jedi dont lose xp in space.
can anyone enlighten me?

I think it meant when you get blown up piloting a ship you don't lose xp, but I'm not sure.

its meant o be XP loss while piloting.
getting triple incapped while fire fighting is fair game, since ithe normal game mechanics are at work. Next time remember the fire blankets.

what use is that? im not a doc or have any medic skill.

what for taking a break from grinding to have some fun?
if i had reasied that happened i wouldn't ahve gone into space or even bothered buying jtl on either of my accounts, and as for calling me a fool - thanks
ias you can probally guess i spent my hours on my jedi not in space. so i thought i'd give it a try - a n00b to space so i dont know the workings of it.
i dont know much about jtl so i thought i'd ask. you're glad i lost xp, that type of comment just speaks for itself.

You cannot duel or fightin space. The fact that you pulled this off makes me laugh and then crying about the xp lost just makes it that much better. Thanks and You're welcome
As a Duel Point : JTL is worth the $$ just for the "Travel" button 
I think you need to cheer up & smile, Its a game man. I didn't mean to make you feel bad but I think it's foolish to get tripple incapped while watching it happen, knowing why it happend & then saying you thought you heard there was no LOSS in space. When really what you heard is that you cannot die inspace, Unless You're You?

If you're a Jedi, you never want to leave the Co-Pilot or Gunner positions in a POB ship. You're safe from fires so long as you're in there.
If you get adventurous and leave one of those stations, be prepared to catch on fire and die. But also be aware that plasma fires STOP when you leave the area of a plasma leak. As soon as you get a system message saying you're on fire, turn around and immediately head back to where you came from. The fire will stop burning you once you get out of the vicinity of the plasma conduit.

This is probably part of a system where people will be able to dock with ships in space an fight stuff with thier ground combat skills eventually. So that's most likely why Jedi still lose xp from it. Sucks that the Devs did'nt warn anyone it would happen though.

Noticed something somehow similar today. Took an Imp friend up with my Kryat (he needed xp), declared at a Rebel station to get FP. I got only half factionpoints, but my imp gunner got full negative xp (-240 for tier5 gunboat -30 tier4 tie etc.). He Only noticed it when he was already about -300 Imp faction
