he was crewing for me
im a newly qualified imp Ace
Tib is an almost entirely space noob
since i was just showing off the ship we were a 2 man crew
at some point along the way we get attacked and the rear shields and armour go
im in pilot seat and need to stay there as im the only person on board who can fly the thing and i need to dodge fire and get out of range
Tib was gunning and i yelled at him to patch the conduit (neither of us thinking he'd loose xp for it cos we'd heard jedi dont in space)
so tib.. being the only person available to patch the leak ran down and tried
however my pre-flight safety briefing wasnt entirely clear and i believe he was trying to fix the leak via the component rapir panel not the conduit
I think he can be forgiven for putting the ship first and not knowing what he was doing due to being a 'starter-tie noob'
and i have never seen it stated anywhere that jedi loose xp if walking around a ship and not at a station
This isnt about your oppinions on jedi.. this was someone putting out a warning to stop other people making the same mistake
This issue wasnt clear (at least to the both of us) and we thought others should be alerted to it

its for dying when your ship blows up not for inside the ship things

It's not exactly fair since they said that Jedi don't lose exp in space and this should be fixed or at least they should warn players to expect this.
It's common sense - run away from fire!
But of course, the Jedi moan at it instead

jedi only loose xp if they die in a multiplayer ship from a plasma leak, not from a single fighter, in which you do not die anyway you eject..

What happens to me if I die in space?
You will appear at the nearestspace station and incur 100 mind, action, and health wounds as well as 100 battle fatigue. If you eject it will be 200 mind, action, health and battle fatigue.
&Jedi xp is not lost upon death. Your PvP ranking is also not effected
