Are these obtained from shcematic pieces like the firespray, or have they not been added into the beta yet?

Yes indeed, they're quest loot rewards. Same for the Y-8. Not sure about the modified fighters, though.

The jedi starfighter is a reward from a quest given by Darth Vader according to the .tre files for TC. It doesnt say if you get it from Vader in the Emperor's Retreat or if he'll be hanging out somewhere else.
Thats the only ship quest I've seen so far, but I havent DLd TC in over a week. Ill have a look this afternoon if it'll DL everything and let you know if I find the others in there.

Y-8 I think is going to be craftable by Master Shipwright. The schematic is listed along with the heavy tie/Heavy Z95 and heavy freelancer ship for Shipwrights. So those should be craftable and won't be rewards for quests/missions.

Quest rewards?
Bah. I hope the chassis have perfect stats.
I can already hear shipwrights everywhere screaming in anger about a missed opportunity to gouge the general populace if true.

It does have heavy influence from a tie fighters body with the front glass being the eaxt design from tie fighter cockpits. I'm kind of hoping this is an imperial only ship.
Mabye the rebels can have that jedi starfighter that was in clone wars.

Oh yeah sure, whilehalf of the SW's is complaining about the other half selling their grinding chassis at 1 cpu or lower.
Vendor search on eclipse showed A-Wings for 50k to 400k. The 50k versions turned out to have the most mass. Not what I call gouging.
I have more problems with SOE turning everything into loot drops and quest rewards then that I'm worried about being gouged. Furniture, paintings, rugs, cybernetics, recycling tools, clothes. Game has been running for almost 2 years now, some of that stuff could have gone to the relevant professions.

I do agree that making this a quest reward would be crazy. Maybe make the schematis to build the bluprints with a quest reward, but not the blueprints themselves.

Meh, it varies on server -on bria, they were gouging bigtime. I dunno about now, i havent bought anything from a SW in months. I mastered SW just so i wouldnt have to put up with them on my server.
Average price was about 5 CPU per ship. I remember paying 75K for a teir 1 ship when the acutal cost is 15K to make.
400K or so for a Teir 4 ship.
Master ships ranged from 750K on the low end, to roughly a million on the upper end. Acutal cost is around 300K to make that ship.
SW's wanted a cartel, the lowballers who thankfully woudlnt play along stopped that. I like a compedative market
But on bria, i can easily see SW's thinking ROTW is going inspire a part II of the prior gouging. If the new ships are quest, their gonna be upset. Either way i don't care. Quest or craft, ill have my ships, SW's are the least of my worries. ( and if anyone from bria is reading this, the answer is no.
