I am a Master Shipwright, and I like that the KSE firespray isn't available in large numbers.
Although considering that most new players coming into the game because of the new movie will want to fly that ARC-170 and jedi starfighter it might be more appropriate to just offer them as reward prizes.
I think SW's will have plenty of involvement with the new components, mining ship, mining equipment, 3 new ships they can build right out of the gates, plus the surge of players who will need space parts once this expansion comes out.
If you're poor as a SW I'm not sure what to say... I am making so much money and selling so many items I have to go to the village to convert all my merchant xp at least once a week. And it is so bloody annoying. Personally I don't craft much anymore because the experience can't be converted in anyway. I would start offering ships and such on my vendors in great numbers if there was a purpose for that sw experience.
Until then reversing loot is my little secret. The market search makes it possible to find obscene gear and reverse it for pennies and sell it for millions. I didn't really start making money until I stopped trying to make ships.
Complete waste of resources imo. Let someone else spend all that time diggin rocks and such, I'll just buy a cheap ship and keep cranking out my amazing loot.

Yeah, I as a SW, started making most my money after I gave up on chassis. LIke you said, no one wants to pay a mesly 5 CPU (About what the resources sell for if not less) so it was not worth the time to put the resources into a chassi and experiment it.
Now I just sell my HQ Components at 20 CPU and people cant get enuf of them
Oh, like I said before... All the modifyed ships (Royal gaurd TIE, X-Wing with wings, TIE with wings, etc.) are made by SWs by adding an item into the base chassis. The item is made using Asteroid resources. So basicaly the new versions of old ships simply require more resources and specific asteroid resources.

>>I would like these ships to remain very rare and hopefully be obtained something like what we have now for the KSE firespray.
Damn i hope not. The KFC Chickenspray is the lamest duck ever. The whole history of that damn ship as it pertains to JTL is just plain bad.

It does have heavy influence from a tie fighters body with the front glass being the eaxt design from tie fighter cockpits. I'm kind of hoping this is an imperial only ship.
Mabye the rebels can have that jedi starfighter that was in clone wars.
the ships are for everyone no imp or reb or netural only. Its already been stated that. IF they make them where darth or luke or who ever gives out the quest. mean those player that have already mastered multi pilot professtion have an advantage because of the xp bonus do do each professtion again.

I hope that the Jedifighter ISNT Imp only.
Not because I want one particularly...but because, if it is, it destroys half of their logic. The logic was that you can't fly an X-Wing, if you're trained to fly a TIE Fighter. You need to re-train. That made sense. But the controls of the Ep2 Jedi Starfighter, and the Ep3 Jedifighter are just like those of X-Wing-like craft...if its Imp only, it destroys the only real shred of logic behind the pilot profession system.
