Blue Screen of Death...oh I don't miss it. As far as help, try re-installing the game or disabling AntiVirus software if you have it. Really there isn't much of a way around that blue screen. That screen means DEATH.

I'd do a full scan from launchpad first and yeah, turn off any virus protection software you may have running. If that doesn't work then try a reinstall.
Lastly, make sure your sound and video card drivers are current.

What are your system specs? You should only be getting that screen if your hardware is crashing.

Well my friend, what previous posters have said, that screen is commonly referred to the blue screen of death. There is absolutely NO WAY past it but rebooting, usually mine automatically restarts after a few seconds on that screen, sometimes I must manually hit the reset button.
My specs:
3.2GHz P4 (1mb L2 cache)
1gb ddr pc3200 dual channel RAM
ATI x800 XT platinum edition graphics card
creative audigy 2 zs gamer edition w/ EAX 3.0
creative gigaworks 7.1 speakers
breaks my heart to get blue screened on my precious

" A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevevnt damage to your computer.
The problem seems to be caused by the following file: ati3d2ag.dll
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA "
