I have been anticipating the release of JTL for some time now. My city is located on Talus and our #1 complaint has been that it's far away from everything and no one likes to travel there. With JTL now live, I was hoping that we would be able to jump travel from Corellia to Talus quickly but that's not the case. Why is it that when I select the Travel option from the Starship Terminal, I can travel to Lok INSTANTLY, but if I want to go to Talus, which is RIGHT NEXT TO CORELLIA, I have to launch into space and travel the old fashioned way. This makes no sense to me whatsoever. As if Talus wasn't dead enough before JTL, this is ensuring the complete population desolation of the planet.

Actually, Talus might still become more popular, if you want to fly for the Black Epsilon. That is where the first trainer is located.

Is there an option to travel direct to Rori? I know there were some problems with the travel button late in Beta and there might still be a bit of ironing out to be done with the function. At work right now so I can't investigate myself, but hopefully this will be added/fixed soon.

No you cannot travel to Talus from Corellia and you can't travel to Rori from Naboo with your Starship. You must manually fly into space to the appropriate space station or wait for the shuttle.

My guess this is a temporary problem that will be patched soon. Its not as critical as some of the other issues the Devs had to fix before release so I'm sure they've just postponed it.

Still, it is probably faster to fly there than wait for a shuttle once you gain a couple of tiers.

Yep. When you launch to space from Corellia, the Rori station isn't very far off.

The Talus Space Station is approximately 12km (km in space? oh well) from the launch location. Took me about 10 minutes to fly there manually. At least I got to eat lunch while I was autopiloting there.

Dood, hyperspace to a point close to it. If you have the starter ship, then it's only going to be a short while until you can hyper fairly close to it. In fact, as soon as you have enough loot to make a ship, do it, then you'll have hyperdrive.

Yeah me too, I'm just keeping an eye on the fedex guy. Almost time to leave.
But I do hope that they will add it so you can go from tat-lok, corellia-talus, and naboo-rori with the travel screen.

This is a bug that has been around since beta. When you select the travel option from the starship terminal it defaults your starting location to Tatooine. If you look carefully you'll the see the places you can travel too are the same as the ones available when you are on Tat. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
