JTL RELEASE
About 5 minutes ago (7:30pm GMT)i contacted a CSR and talked to him in live chat via the help on the starwarsgalaxies website and i asked him when was the release date for JTL in USA and Europe (especially UK) and he said the release date was the same, tomorrow (tuesday 26th). Now i questioned this as there have been numerous posts on how it has been delayed til early november etc. and i asked him about this. He then replied that the word was JTL would be out in USA & UK on tuesday. But then i mentioned...since when do games come out on a tuesday?? now it's possible that game shops will receive them but not sell them until friday. Well anyway i then asked how old was this information (when was he told that it came out in UK on tuesday) and he then said 2mins prior to our nice little chat. (not exact words). But i contacted the main game shops in UK (main UK game shops in my area (somerset, UK). and they said that either they had no release date or sometime in november....
can someone please confirm the release date (well almost confirm) for JTL in UK please!

Official release date is Wednesday 27th. This is advertised on the SWG site for both Sony and LucasArts.
UK & Europe release is Friday 29th. Games are always released on Fridays in the UK, so we will have to wait an extra 2 days.

The release date is the 26th...the sales date is the 27th.
Meaning Pre-Order companies can send the game to you on the 26th. It will be avalible for purchase onf Wednesday the 27th. If you preordered at the counter, I don't think you can actually pick up the game until wednesday. But I don't know, I always order online and have it mailed to me.

yes but, i'm assuming you american as your on sunrunner (not euro servers) what day do games usually come out over there? we've never known them to come out on any other day than a friday here in UK

Called the store I preordered from. It's out on Wednesday the 27th. FYI, 90% of the time, new games come out on Wednesdays in the U.S. (Worked at Gamestop, called FuncoLand then,a few years ago.) Same goes for movies comingto DVD/VHS.
The people that ordered online via EB or Gamestop should recieve it on the 27th if they chose overnight shipping because they are sending them out on the 26th.
EDIT: Forgot to add that the reason the store doesn't sell them on the 26th is because they don't recieve them until the 27th. The stores get the game from the corporate office (where your online orders are sent) not SOE. The corporate office recieves them on the 26th then has to overnight them to the stores who will get them on the 27th.

The guy at the EB games shop that I preordered my game from said that they will be getting in their copies on the 27th, but often the games comes a day early. He told me that if it did come early he would let me come in and get it that day. Soooo, I could possibly have it tomorrow. Here's to hoping.

well I have had it on pre-order at amazon in the uk for some time, if I check my pre-order status it says should be delivered on the 29th-30th at a price of £26.99+postage, but if you check the main website it has a release date of the 5th November with a price of £16.99+postage, this either means all the stock for pre-order is allocated and the new stock will be there for the 5th, or they have fooked up, if they even think of charging my card for £26.00 they can have it straight back. So even this don'tconfirm when us UKers will get it, confirmation from SOE would be nice
