I haven't been on the boards in awhile, did they mention beta yet (I kow the fanfest people are all set). I went as far as to write the devs a snail mail letter to get into beta and never got a response. The beta release was supposed to be publish 8.1. Any news basically?

When will beta go live? and how do they choose who gets selected?

Will they have some kind of sign up? Or will they come to certain people? I am psyched about this beta, it looks great. Hope i can get into the beta, didnt get to play the beta of Galaxies, but my buddy did.

Beta will begin between the time period end of August beginning of September.

It is also completely invite only, if they follow the same model as last beta. There may be a couple day open beta, but not sure yet. All information is few and far between about Beta so far.

There are hundreds of post with people asking the same thing... but I guess they do get burried a bit quick

there will likly be a signup. It will start next month sometime. It will be mostly the Fan Fest people, and Veteran Players (However they haven't yet defined what a vet is. Most likly players who have played since launch or very shortly there after.) There will also be some other players invited in, as well as some people who have never played the game yet. Beta will run for about a Month and a half.

Thats all the info availible right now, so beyond that its guess work
