Thread: Where do you find the white pilot helmet?

I saw some guy in a white pilot helmet that I had never seen before. And he says that its a rare drop off a black sun ace. Anyone know where I might find these guys? And how rare is it?

Run a query for "black sun helmet" and you'll find a ton of posts. Basically it's a very very (very) rare drop from Tier 4/5 Black Sun ships. Don't have to be Black Sun "Aces" just Tier 4 or 5 ships.

if you are Rebel Pilot, then you can get BlackSun Missions in the Hotel (Nym`s Stronghold)on lok.
There is also a Tier4 Spawn in Endor. Jump to endor (Red Sun Chimaera, first jump point) and try "Next Target" as your first click (Tab Key) you should have a BlackSun targeted then... Fly towards him and make a Waypoint once you engage him... from then on out it will be easy to find again. There will be a spawn of 3 every 4 to 5 minutes in there.

I wil add that the black sun helmit is very rare. Im in space constantly.. most of my game time.. and Ive only ever found two.

Here is something I'm wondering. What's the purpose of having a helmet if you can't see yourself in the cockpits of single players ships. Sure it may be cool to run arounf with it on ground, or even a multiplayer ship. But honestly if you ever watched the movies the only times you saw anyone wearing a space helmet was in the single flier ships. hmmmm.

No, the DeathWatch ships are something else. The Ships you are looking for are named "BlackSun". And only tier 4 and above....

I was all over endor spacelast night and didn't see one blackSun ship. So where are these found? yes, I did search the red chimera sector.

There´s only a spawn of 3 of them every 3 minutes in endor (5 minutes if you have 2 and then 1 ship) If you do not get them as your first "nearest enemy" target when jumping to red sin chimaera, then they have been shot down by someone and youll have to wait for em to spawn.
This place is only necesary for IMPs since they dont have any BlackSun Duty missions. If you are rebel, you can get duty missions for blacksuns ( neutrals tooo, just dont remember where the NPC for neuts was). You get the blacksun duty at the hotel at nym's stronghold But only if ur rebel.

you can also get missions for themfrom the corsec trainer in the cantina at thedantooine mining outpost if you are a neutral pilot - i looted one on one of these missions.
