Heh, space mining in Earth and Beyond wasn't that much more fun either.
I've played both games, it wont be much fun unless theres some danger involved.

Heh, at least there was some fun to be had with the mining in EnB, EVE is just like... ugh
"I've just spent a a long day at work... how can I make myself really miserable? I know! I'll do some mining in EVE!"
Here's hoping the mining in SWG will have more in common with the former, and none with the latter!

I quit the EaB Beta. Just didn't appeal to me, got bored pretty quick.

I liked it on EnB that was a fun little game, but Eve drove me friggen nuts! It took soooooo long to gain skills. Not too mention you were better off telling it to train and logging off for 6 days than just endlessly mining.

I loved the time-based skill system. There was no grind whatsoever... I also really liked playing the economy game too, so mining, buy-selling, etc. was really fun to me... I never bought the game though; I just played on the trial thingy...

I loved mining in EnB, rushing in to get the resources out before the Mobs could squish my wimpy Jenpie bottom.

E&B was an awsome game. It still amazes me, even though it's not longer running. I wish JtL was more like that game.

Mining to me, is well, just boring.
But i degress, the only thing MORE boring than mining, was running trade job runs from Valkerie twins to Net 7 in earth and Beyond.
50 trade was teh suck for a progen warrior . HEH

I can't remember what they were called, but I was the kind that could create wormholes. Came in very handy.

Wormhole was what they were called. but not everyone had a Jenqui Explorer in their pocket, and tipping the guys got too expensives.
