"Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided™ and Jump to Lightspeed™ are required to play this expansion.Jump to Lightspeed is included with your order of the digital download expansion,Episode III Rage of the Wookies."
So for $24.95 you get both expansions? So those of us who paid $29.99 for JTL have to pay for ROW, but those who never got JTL now get it for free? How is that fair?

I would like to know what is going on, as I have just gotten 2 copies. If I had known, I would have waited and saved about $50.
If this is the case that they are giving JtL with RotW I will most definately not getting it, as I was looking at possibly getting it just for the extra starships.

And this is new...how?
Have any of you ever looked at how they package EQ on the shelves now? It's just about impossible to buy a single copy of EQ, or any single expansion, by itself anymore. Nearly every single pack you see on the shelves has at least one expansion pack with it, most have more.
And this really isn't unique to SOE, either. Games that have expansions almost ALWAYS package 'em together. It increases the amountof revenue they make, as the packaging and CD's don't really cost that much.
Nothing new, folks. Move along. Everything is as normal.

This is true, but these expansions came a bit too close together to be giving out the first with the second, especially with the second costing less than the first on release. I think a discount, maybe half price, on the new one for current JTL owners is appropriate. Also, this one's a download so no packaging or CDs are required.

Yea I to paid full price for JTL when it first came out. So I expect to get ROW for free the same as people who will buy ROW will get JTL for free....
Or I may just feel cheated and not bother getting it at all.

Many game companies release "bundle packs" with either all the expansions or the main game and the exapnsions. And it's usually cheaper, too. It's nothing new.
I think it's supposed to be an added bonus for getting the online download rather then waiting for the box game to come out.

As for me, I don't mind it. I paid $30 for JtL, and I'm fine with it. I got a special Flash Speeder, and I got it the day it came out. It as worth $30 to me, and I'll gladly pay the $25 for RotW.

EQ also has like 20 different exspansion packs. SWG atm has 1. no need to be making delux all in one packs quite yet. great way to screw sony long time users

This was expected considering a major feature of RoW is space-based.

Good suggestion.

What is this I'm hearing about RotW? Is it just another separate computer game? Or is it another expansion to SWG? WTH?

Or rather, just give JTL users ROW free.

Actually you only get it if you get the digital download, true a lot of people will be getting the digital download, but there will still be alot getting the boxed version which doesn't include JTL....
It does suck you guys would have to pay full price, they should offer a discounted digital download of ROW for people who already have JTL... who knows they may pull a discounted one out of their ass in the next few weeks *shrug*
