We JTL users should get a discounted version of RotW
They better not make me buy the box set of JTL and RotW

I paid $29.99 for JTL ... PreOrdered and got my little flash Speeder too.
A friend of mine waited a couple of months and ordered a copy from Amazon.com for $9.99.
I believe amazon.com sold JTL for that price for about a months time while others still sold at full retail and at $19.99.
Well, that's marketing and buisness and my friends happy so why should I complain.
I feel that including JTL with the digital download of the explansion is a very good marketing move.
Now, I wouldn't mind a price break or some compensation for having paid full price forJTLbut I sure won't lose sleep over it if I don't.
But I can think of one form of compensation that I feel would be cool...An extra ship slot for all players who bought JTL prior to the release of this Digital download.

I think people are missing the point.
The Digital Download is NOT intended for people new to the game. Its meant for Current Empire Divded Players and thats pisses people off. Why Do i want an extra Copy of Jump to Lightspeed? Im never gonna use it yet I have to pay for both ROW and JTL? What kinda of bull is that. They need a 15.99 or 19.99 ROW Download that doesnt have JTL. I dont need it i already have it so donmt be forcing me to have another copy of a worthless expansion

Well im getting it in the box for 2 reasons.
1. I hate using my credit card on the internet.
2. Digital download sounds like it will just take a long time and I beleive a box w/ a CD is more reliable.
Now that JTL is $19.99 I won't mind getting both. Also, if I have a $50 Best Buy GiftCard! WOO HOO!!!

Its not underpopulated. JTL is underdeveloped. Underdvelopment leads to boredom. boredom leads to anger. anger leads to avoiding space.
JTL has nothing post Master Pilot. Instead the devs are smart asses and say your not done. you didnt master all the other professions. Yeah just want I want to do grind grind grind. Doing that with jedi is bad enough dont need to do it 9 times for pilot

While I do think its dodgy that people who never bought JTL are now basically getting it free with ROTW. I have to say that there is nothing inherantly unfair to it, because it the long run the Devs want JTL to be a main expansion that everyone has. And I am betting that every expansion coming out from now on has JTL in the mix.
And if you look at it from a non JTL owners perspective, its like paying 12.50 for 2 expansions. Which is 5 dollars off for one and decent for the other.
Since JTL has basically been out for a while now nobody should be griping that people can get it cheaper, if it wasn't getting cheaper it would be worse. You have to look at it like having extra few months over the noobs who just get it. You're masters, you're tricked out, and you'll own the new pilots in May, not to mention the fact that you'll be able to experience Kashyyykian Space first without worrying about getting wasted as soon as you jump in.
Wishing there was about 10 more cool ships to fly and more space content...

Personally, I don't mind TOO much with the download (especially since you get it a few weeks earlier than getting it box)BUT, I would like it if they sent me a boxed copied as well even though I download it. I dunno, I like having a hard copy of it for later purposes incase I gotta reload it and not having to worry about downloading it. And I just like having the box
Call me strange.

I just saw this myself and was looking for somewhere to ask about it. Quick work there, Reaperss.
I hope we get an answer soon, this is kinda wrong...

Regardless if a lot of companies do it or not, a lot of us have been here since the beginning if not sooner. When you put money down and afew months later that same game is given away free to anyone that hadn't bothered getting it yet, that's just bad business not compensating those that had. Although I'd love to play the expansion they're coming out with, I won't be doing it. I've been looking forward to a new planet too, but I'm tired of Sony treating those of us who've stuck with the game like we're non-existant.
