In the manual of JTL, it clearly states "In order to climb aboard a multi-passenger ship, players will to first form a GROUP". I did this today with someone who didn't register JTL, but it wouldn't let him aboard my mulit-passenger ship. It did work with someone who has JTL registered. It does not state anywhere in the manual that you must register JTL in order to board someones multi-passenger ship. I think they might want to either fix that issue or state it as a future reference because it's not fair for those who don't have the expansion registered and want to travel with a friend, a guild, or just for easy travel. I don't see the reason of why someone who doesn't have JTL registered would have to download the JTL files for patch 11 and not even use the files. Please fix this problem as it will serve no purpose to have a muli-passenger ship unless you have JTL registered.

Can you fly multi-player ships by yourself?
I believe so but you can't fire weapons, so its best to have a friend or no fighting for you

To leave the cockpit and look around: there is a icon with lettering in front of you that says "Leave ship station" Click that and you should be able to walk around your ship.

You can't be serious. You thought people without JTL would be able to go into space?!?

Well yeah. Whats the point of even downloading the "needed files" of patch 11, if you can't even use them. You should be able to hitch a ride with someone and if you want to own a ship and pilot it yourself in space, then buy the expansion.
