Why on earth hasnt JTL been released in the UK yet.

1. Its not like they have to translate it is it. They never bothered translating anything in the original into english (I have the mark of honor not the mark of honour)

2. If its released in the rest of europe as it is in the States why cant it be released here in the UK too - after all out of all the european countries we are the ones who do the most for america - a little bit of payback and respect would be appreciated.

The release we had been given was 5th of november - a full WEEK later than the US and now its been put back to the 12th of November. why on earth should io pay for SWG when all i see when i log in is a load of frenchies and germans flying of in their own ships while i have to wait another 2 weeks.

And what on the earth is it suppossed to cost - ive seen everything from £15.99 to £39.99 as a quoted price on high-strret stores websites.

Please SOE, surprise me and show you do care about your customers by answering this little question.

This is disgusting treatment of your UK Customers.

But like with all the other threads on this subject, some kindly SOE employee will delete the thread prefering the problem to go away by means of ignorance.

One community announcement was all it would have taken.

You just had to drop us a line and say sorry.

Instead we are ignored by faceless SOE.

im from the UK too and was gutted when i saw the date been changed again, once again GAME never bothered to email me to say the date had changed. In the end i just called up a old friend in america, paid her the money and had her email me the keys

Why they pushing it back i dont know but its losing them sales and SOE well im not surprised to be honest with the lack of comments

Not trying to rub it in, but I got my copy here in Australia yesterday!

My local eTailer sourced a shipment from US, i've had it on pre-order for last month or so,and it arrived here in Aus on monday, got mine via post on wednesday.

I agree there should be a "uniform" release, particularly where it's OFFICIALLY sold, or we should get our activation key and download it whilst waiting forshiny box to arrive!

My first point is - what is all this talk of getting keys - do we just need the CD-key and the files will be downloaded automatically by the patcher - if so what the hell is the point of having to buy a box - why not make it all available this way instead of having to go to the shops.

And my second point to MCCUSTO is - we are in the UK, not europe (godamn american education system - they all think geography ends at their borders), and have a bit of respect for the UK, after all at the moment our soldiers are having to clean up the mess your ill-equiped and undertrained marines made of the Triangle of Death in baghad, which the frenchies and germans arent doing - all im asking for is a bit of quid pro quo. That means that i think you owe us AT LEAST an explanation as too why we have our release dates put back - when our copies of the game are american and dont have to be translated (even though they should be - its honour not honor ffs) compared to the frenchies and germans who arent your greatest allies or friends are they?

Dont worry, i do not beleive all americans are overweight, arrogant, uneducated blowhards. I have met several who do not conform to those stereotypes, although unfortunately they are not in the majority. Five stars for you, Cuchulainn. I'm still waiting on my copy, too.

All I can think of is they're having a problem with the UKsupplier/distributor.

UK supplier distributor is Activision but go have a look at their website - not a mention of JTL. If i were truly paranoid id say they are putting it off to capatilise on the christmas rush - but considering that the only people thatll buy it are owners of SWG and pretty much every SWGer is going to get it why bother.

And on top of that, itll be a straight copy of the american version just like SWG is - there is absolutely no reason for it to be delayed - we all know that it isnt because its up to scrath and they are patching it up for us - Helll, the ground game is still pretty much a beta ffs.
