OK so we know it wont be very fast, or manouverable (sp), but can we expect good armor/shields, and will it pack a punch?

I think it's going to be more of a pleasure craft, but I could be wrong.

No way will it have big guns. its basically a high class transport. If youve played Jedi Knight Outcast, You get to use the one and only gun on the ship to free yourself and Lando. It doesnt pack much punch either. id settle for a YT-1300 anyday. twin cannons at full upgrade...gonna be sweet!

I hope it's a little bit more than just a pleasure craft, but either way I'm sure it will be a sweet gift.

I'm hoping it'll be as upgrade-able as the other ships, but it probably won't.

I suspect it will be next to worthless in combat... which is as it should be. It's for sightseeing... if you want a combat craft, see a shipwright.

So why can't I see a shipwright and have it brought up to combatable? The Falcon was hardly stock. It's weapons were military grade and double the normal YT (only 1 canon and I think it was the ventral one) on top of the concussion missles. So why can't I tweak mine to be able to take on a few TIEs and live? Of course I plan on using a real fighter to get into a dogfight but odds are I won't be entirely safe in my yacht while "sightseeing" so why should I be entirely defenseless?

Simple. I think we should be able to upgrade this thing to combat worthy. Of course it should be able to be upgraded to turrets and untouchable shields and hull, but at least able to protect itself from something if it is attacked. If not, then allow it to get some really nice engines so it can get moving whenever needed.
