I think that you'd need to wear fighter pilot suits while piloting faction fighters. Like Tie fighters i hear do not have a life support system so that suit is required. Rebel fighters i hear do have life support system but you always see them using their orange flight suit. Though i can't remember if i have seen Luke pilot is X-Wing without his flight suit. So i guessIF they have a Covert and Overt system in space then RebsMIGHT be able to pilot thier faction ships wearing whater they want while covert but they'd need the orange flght if they go Overt and Imps would have to wear that suit all the time seeing as how they have no life support system.

The orange 'flight suit' was a survival suit in the event of an ejection. In the EU it contained a magfield generator to create a pocket of habitable enviroment for the pilot in the even of a breah or the pilot had to eject.

Heh, that wont happen in this game because most of the races can't wear TIE pilot helmets.

I want a rebel helmet for those of us who actually want to feel like a rebel pilot in space, Sure we used to have the Endor helmet..but feh they took it away...But i want a custom one from an armorsmith and tailor (which factional clothing should be made by ((a tailor)) ) customized to say something like " Bad ass" or something on the back of it lol...thats just me..and interesting Star Wars facts Rogue
thanks! lol now i can share more Star Wars detail with the guys on Shadowfire (everyone i talk to likes to get Star Wars information off of me..i dont think i know that much..but they call me a geek LMAO) ah well

I'll definitely be wearing a flight suit in space, but it doesn't need to be a requirement. It just makes you look cooler.

I am pretty sure that they are going to be adding in things like the rebel helmets in theg ame just for this, or maybe when you buy your X-wing it is part of the deed or something liek that who knows but i think it will happen.

how about...
If you die in space without a space suit you get massive BF and wounds but if you die with a suit you dont suffer as much?
making any sense?

I can see that with rebels but i still think a flight suit would be required for a TIE
