Thread: Is it just me?

Ok I use Underhand Shot on my targets like pretty much everyone does. Now the thing is when I knock them down they stand right but up and begin to follow me, they don't hit me but they follow me ... and after a while I see that the 'stand up' and then after another Knockdown they still follow me ... Is this happening to anyone else? I mean if your knocked down shouldn't you stay on the floor? This isn't just for my marks this happens to creatures I attack as well ... I have had things follow right behind me knocked down for lots of meters only to stand up right in front of me and begin to hit me ...

Yeah, 'knockdown' should be renamed 'trampoline effect'.

They'd much rather just nerf the knockdown in the first place, so the animation problems never have to get fixed proper.

Yes i have done 1944 and Vietnam its still alot different than what they are dong here. I would also like to move around the ship to do random maintainance and repairs to the ship while in mid space as well as at a starport, Id like to dock with a spaceport and exit the craft and walk around it and see the battle damage as well but i wont push it that far. I think unreal 2 had some type of ship interaction but not sure if you got to pilot the ship , I believe it was all scripted, maybe someone could let me know about that one.

This would be a great timetoshow the poor droid engeneers some love by making droids a vital part in the repairs and maint. I know the said droids will be very active on the ships but I hope the make them a must ,not just r-2 units, some of the droids they already havedont have specific things that they do.I read in pc gamer that the yt will have cantina like healing, so maybe some entertainer droids are in order (r-2MP3)

Im still a long time combat sim and would love to see this implamented into the combat sims in the near future. I always wanted to rome a true 3d submarine going from station to station also with ai crew members or even a crowded B-17bomber imagine being in the belly of a bomber wile being straffed by an enemy fighter or depth charges going off near . Cant wait...

...Or was there an influx of TKA novice's running around after the patch. I saw them everywhere. I changed my title to scout just so there was some diversity. Just my thoughts.

TKA is, according to the used skillpoints the easiest way to heal poison and desease all by yourself ... i could imagine that a lot of players which needs unarmed (like smugglers or commandos) also get the tka meditation line to heal themselfs.

And showing tka over the head is kinda cool because its a really cool class .. isn't it?

for myself i like medical professor a bit more because its really rare

titles are overrated. i don't wear one (if i remember to turn it off anyway). my defauilt is set to wayfarer just in case i do forget to turn off title, which is actually quite often heh.

i guess a more accurate way to say it is ''the title i fly is wayfarer, that is, if i forget to turn it off (which i prefer)''. oy. there's probably an easier way to say that

Or is Prone Warp horribly, horribly, horribly, acting on us now. I am an ex rifleman coming back to the profession(I have always loved this prof, but the uberness of BH attracted me for a bit) and I am just petrified at how awfully they made a minor bug even worse. It is just ridiculous. I am leveling up to novice on kaadu and Borvo Champions, and I am warping 30-40m back as soon as I go prone. It is ridiculous. I notice everyone here is saying that the prone warp bug is fixed, but Shadowfire at least got the warp bug x 10. I hope to God that the dev's issue a fix for this kind of nonsense, because the game loses its enjoyability value very quick when you can't go prone without warping 40meters away..Every...time..prone..must..molliwop...devs..

hmm... Try opening the launch pad (start up the game) and doing a Full Scan. there may be fragments of the update that didn't make it to your system, or were improperly installed (i'm guessing?)

i've heard a rumor that the Full Scan should solve this, and TH mentions something about it in the general/Dev forum, i believe.

hope that helps!

Its not just you, i had never ever had this problem before the patch. Now it happens every single time I go prone. I ran fullscan still happens everysingle time. I have max accuracy so hitting is not an issue but you can forget 'take cover' and conceal and all of that. I would seriously like this addressed.

Lighten, your situation is identical to mine. I ran the fullscan as well, with no positive results from it. But I found out that warping is reduced considerably if you wait about 4 or 5 seconds before you go prone after stopping. It seems that as soon as the game senses a movement while prone, you warp. Give that a try and tell me how it works.

The worping prob has always been around. The best way around it is to kneel, stand-up, kneel, then lie down... this has had a 100% success rate for me.

Cause of the prob is likely lag with the computer not knowing how u got there and placing u at the last location it remembered u at.....
