Thread: help
Food is little understood and may very well be overpowered. Especially those foods that buf the non-HAM stats.
(The HAM bar stats are Health, Action, Mind -- the non-HAM are all others)
Exo-protien wafers and K-18 rations, for example, buf both constitution AND willpower. The buf lasts for almost three minutes in the case of the wafers and over three minutes for the rations.
I am an artisan/brawler and always have one of the two items before I fight. I handle more creatures and a time and I can handle harder creatures.
What happens is you can pump your regeneration up that you pratically regenerate fully between your opponents hits.
Other foods buf things like quickness, strength, and focus which will greatly reduce special moves cost. That means you can use those moves more often.
With the right combination of food and drink, you can actually buff all six non-HAM stats - and become quite poweruful.
While the buf lasts, food far surpasses armor in its effectiveness for helping in a battle (especially for brawlers).
I'm trying to build a harvester. Wherever I try to build it (and I've wandered pretty **edit** far looking for a place) I get a message saying I can't build there, even out in the middle of nowhere. The help doesn't say anything about it, the book that comes with the game doesn't say anything about it. Some other player said I should just wander out farther, so I spent the next hour heading away from the city, trying to build something every five minutes or so. No luck. Can someone PLEASE help me out here?! How do I know where I'll be able to build, or at least what to look for generally?! I don't really relish the thought of spending hours on end just trying to find a place I can build on.
I believe the distance for a city must be at least 1000 meters. It's changed since beta (2000m), so I'm not exactly sure what the distance is.
But you appear to know this already. You can be sure that the area is "buildable" if you see other player-made structures nearby. Other than that, I don't know that there is a way to tell if the area is buildable or not unless you try it.
One last thing. I've found that sometimes double-clicking on the deed does not work (and produces the you cannot build here), whereas using the radial menu to Use Deed pops up the isometric view and you can select a spot to build.
Hi everyone 2quick questions, I have a friend that is a novice droid engineer and he built me 3 mouse droids but when i try to put something inside, it says you do not have permission to access this container. Also does anyone know the command to group mouse droids and when you do should they show up on screen just as regular players do?
Thanks everyone
On the outside of your house? No.
In other's houses? Yes
Listing of vendor Items on Bazaar? No
The last part, please be more specific.
Go buy a droid and program it with a "Group" function and have it group with you. Put it in your inventory or you might have to leave it out but have it do nothing. You get more experience when grouped.
