Thanks for your input. Concerning the last part I was just looking for other Merchants opinions on what skill trees are more benificial to go up first.

Ok, So you have to make sure your droid was crafted with a storage module in him. If your friend said he did then you're good to go. Just go to the program radial menu and select group (you have to train your robot before he knows whats what). Type in spatial chat the word group. Your bot should give you a ! that means he understood your command. now just say group and he will do so. I believe (though have not tried this) that your bot needs to be in your group for you to transfer things to them. But definetly I know they have to have the storage module (even though the base droid looks like it has storage it doesnt seem to let you access it).

Of course this is probably best, I've heard rumor's that anything you put in there (should you then call your droid to your datapad or get disconnected from the server) will vanish ...poof like magic gone Dont test it out with that shinny new gun you just bought.

Good luck

What is the group command is my question and yes this may be an exploit but Brawlers are getting there butts kicked by everything that walks even little rabbits. Brawler is still a very screwed up profession as are alot of other professions. I'm a Master Artisan and Novice Merchant but Master doesn't really do anything for me and Merchant is so bad I thought I would work on my skills to become a Smuggler but again I run into major problems with the Brawler not gaining bairly any skill points and dieing every 2 seconds.

Thanks for your response that sounds right but I have tried typing in group, invite and it doesn't seem to form group any suggestions?

Well its not like a playing character. You dont have to /invite your bot. Just typing group with nothing else in spatial chat should do it. He then automatically joins. I cant for the life of me remember if you need to have your droid selected though you might. Also remember that commands I believe are case sensitive and the group command by default is lower case.

My recommendation is hire if you want to have more vendors. Remember more vendors = more experience.

I finally made it to TKA novice last night without using anything like that. The groups I've been in had everyone fighting or doing something useful (i.e. medics). Yes, it's slow going for unarmed. I agree. Get some Vibro Knucklers and things'll get much easier. Not the easiest, but at least you can take more things on before you need to camp/rest.

As far as the group command for droids goes, I have no idea since I've never used it.

gambles,

I think I can help you with your problems.

The first thing to remember is that you will always need Flora and meat to craft as a bio-engineer. Set up a wind harvester and a few flora farms (this is a requirement). Then keep all the meat of the mobs you kill and buy meat from players and the bazaar. Try to get good deals on meat.

With that in mind, there are3 methods of gaining the fastest experience with your bio-engineer:

1. The Popular Method - Take two destroy missions. On the way to them sample the DNA of every creature you can (without dying, hehe). Once at the mission site, sample the DNA of the mobs you have to kill. Kill the lair for some cash. On the way back, sample the DNA of every mob you can. Once you are back in town, make the largest creature you can for experience. Take that creature and bank it. Get Cloning 1 - 4 as fast as you can and DNA 1-4 as well. Clone 1-4 are very important as each new box gives you more experience for the better creatures you can craft. After that, keep doing this for the other 2 lines as well.

Pros - You make lots of money. Destroy missions give you 3000 per outting and for every 50 creatures you make, you can sell them to Creature Handlers for a good amount of money (they tame them for experience). Haversters and meat do cost money too. This is the easiest way to make money and experience.

Cons - It's slow. No matter what anyone else says, this method is the slowest method. It takes 5 DNA per creature. On average, you will get 1.25 DNA per creature you harvest. That means you have to find and sample 4 different creatures per clone. Then you factor in a failure rate of sampling of about 40%. Afterwards, you add in the fact that sampling wrecks your Mind and you have some slow goings. Speaking of wrecking your Mind, here comes the second method =)

2. The Spice Method - Find a Smuggler with the title "Fence" or "Master Smuggler." These smugglers can make Muon Gold. Muon Gold will raise your Mind/Focus/Willpower to levels where you can sample until the spice wears off. This is roughly 10 minutes worth of sampling. So you get this spice, go to the newbie mob spawn area (preferably one that is deserted), take the spice and sample every creature that you can. You walk away with 20 or so DNA in no time. As soon as the Muon Gold downer phase starts (you will be unable to sample DNA in this phase), you go and craft the best creatures you can out of the DNA you have. Bank the creatures so that you can sell a lot of them to Creature-Handlers later on. You get Clone 1 - 4 as soon as possible and DNA 1-4 as well. Then you get the other two lines. Once again, Clone 1 - 4 is very important as they give you more experience than the level before it. After this, get the other two lines.

Pros - It's faster than method 1. It is also safer than method 1. Make some money selling creatures.

Cons - This method makes much less money than method 1 as you must buy Muon Gold for every outing to be at it's best. That's roughly 200-600 credits per trip. Also, many other players using the newbie spawn area's to raiser their scouting skills/combat skills.

3. The PowerCrafting Method - First, set up 6 flora farms instead of the usual 2-4 and an additional wind generator (making it 2 total). Each day run two destroy missions in the direction of your flora farms. You've just paid for their upkeep. Next, run two destroy missions in the direction of your wind harvesters. You've just paid for their upkeep. Run one more set of missions. Take this money and go to the cantina. Along the way, you should have sampled all of the DNA from the creatures you encountered and your destroy mission targets. Craft creatures out of the DNA and bank them to later sell to Creature-Handlers. Then, have a seat and start shouting "WTB - meat" every few minutes. Buy any and all meat you can get your hands on that is reasonably priced (don't worry about quality as you are powercrafting and don't pay more than 4 credits per unit of meat). Have 3 food/chemical crafting devices. Open one of them and select Micronutrient Supplement. It takes 35 flora and 15 meat to produce. Make them over and over on practice mode. It's roughly 105 experience per craft. If you can find a chef who will take them for free, don't use practice mode. User-experience is worth a little something. Get Clone 1-4 and DNA 1-4 along the way. Then get the other 2 lines.

Pros - Fastest possible bio-engineer experience (anyone who says different hasn't tried powercrafting).

Cons - You don't make a **edit** dime. There is also the "blah factor" that most people attribute to powercrafting. It's not very fun. The other downfall is that you don't get DNA 1-4 as quickly as the other two methods. It is very important to sample everything on your way to your harvesters.

I used the powercrafting method. The trick to success with this method is a positive mindset (I'm serious) and sitting in the Cantina. You get to know other people and at the very least hear their conversations.

There is a method for you here no matter what type of gamer you are. If you like to adventure, go with method 1. If you like to see experience and resources quickly, try method 2. If you want to hit master the fastest and are willing to sacrifice money and fun, try method 3.

Best of luck =)
