Would you play SWG if they offered jedi as a normal fencer type elite profession?
Please think about it before you answer. Well thought out opinions are welcome.
IMO,
Yes, I would have. I think it would have end these problems before they began!

I think I would, at least for a bit.
The problem would be everyone would have it.

If you had jedi as a profession that you chose at the begening of the game everyone would be a jedi. Hey kinda like how tk's are now...... hummmm

I think it would make them less appealing than they are currently ( but eventually there will be soo many that will be the case anyhow).

I think there would be lot too in the begining.
Remember though they are nothing but a normal fencer type profession. Well maybe like a fencer/doc.
I would have gotten tired of it and played a Commando or something.

ok my new comp is better than my last that i played SWG but i wont work so i guess i have to get a new comp
what kind of computers do u guys use to play SWG?

I've been grouping up the last 2 nights, playing about a little over an hour each night. I've gotten 300k xp so far. It would have gone a lot faster, but when there's 4 jedi in a group working together, they all get on the terms, and we have to stop every 20 minutes or so for anyone driving by or a bh showing up for one of us so we have to stop the xp-ing and wait on the fight. I don't care that I'm on the terms. I don't care if a BH comes after me. I put a lot of time (as a casual gamer < 3 hours per night) and money to unlock my jedi after 1.5 years. I've been xping like mad up until the Combat UpNerf hit and IREFUSE to be denied what I worked for because SOE decieded to force us to PAY TO BETA TEST THIS BUG-FILLED GARBAGE.
Pretty Simply:
I dont get XP soloing, so its impossible to level my character that way. I do get xp while grouping, but i also get visibility which means I'm eventually gonna get killed by a one of the eleventy billion newBH that didnt have to grind the investigation line,and suffer xp loss making it impossible to level my character...
Solo = No XP
Group = Eventual XP loss
Either way.. Impossible to effectively level my character.
We say: I cant get any xp solo.
Devs say: You should group up.
We say: I get visibility if I'm in the group andthen BHs come to kill me.
Devs say: You shouldntdo things to get you visibilitythen.
Does anyone else see a problem? Is someone going to fix it?? Who knows? Also, I love how non-jedi professions are getting 13k xp for ONE KILL on 2x XP servers right now and complain about having to get 1,000,000 xp for a master box. We get 1500-2500 xp per kill on a good dayand need 3,200,000 for a master box.. Yes Jedi should be difficult. I can work with the CU combat system if I must, but this crap should have never been released with all of the game breaking, play stopping bugs that it has, and then SOE acts like they're doing us a favor by giving us double xp for one week like thats going to make it all better.

can't stay in the positive... (theres always a time u get ganked and die, no matter how good u fight)

ok well i am from teh ahazi server i ahve grouped 2 times and i have died both tiems by bounty hunters. ok was worth it in a way but i was at 18k before cu first tiem i died i was at -133k the second group got me to +2k second bounty hunter was a JEDI!! ok so after that put me back in at -155k that time so i am now back at solo grind it can be done but slowly seeing hwo i either would have to pick sabers 2000 or enhancer 0002 for channel force btu then i wont have anyhting for sabers and thats how i been doing it so i dont run out of force from healing myself over and over again

have had 8 bh's come after me. one was a set of them. so i'm now sitting at -400k of exp.

yea pretty sad that even Jedi are hunting Jedi they should know at this time in the CU thats just plain wrong outside the FRS system and seems also that allthe BHs are after low paddy bounties 3-5 at a time not taking the full template Jedi. Very sad indeed.
