I have only face a bh twice and both times was a surprise jumping (while I was fighting mobs that had me in an difficult spot), so I died both times without much of a fight. I have not yet tried grouping, but plan to try it tonight. Any suggestions for a low level padawan on how to stay alive (I have all novice boxes and am 0/0/4/3 LS), as I will be risking a lot starting tonight (I usually can only play a little over an hour a day for about 4 days each week)?

i've grouped a few times and havn't had 1 bh come for me yet, well they came but didn't get any farther then the entrance to the dwb. i'm mostly there or at my train or in my ship, never very vulnerable for long unless they bring a big group down so the bh can come kill me and not die to bds and sbds. so far i'm up to 860k xp and i'm worth 84k on the terms

How many people mastered pilot without help? Not really concered with if you are Imperial, Rebel or Freelance, just want to see if it is possible to master it without help.

I hada guildmatealong on some missions who wanted something to do together, but I wasn't in need of assistance. My first few trips to the 'vette were in groups where I stuck to Escort hunting duty, until I learned the process, but now I solo/lead groups.

I soloed Freelance, including the Corvett. The hardest mission was to kill two gunboats and keep my "help" alive before the time for the mission ran out. I think it was the last tier 4 mission.

Ineeded help on a few tier 4 missions, aswell as the final mission in kessel... next time, when i redo the next squadron, i proberly wont need help, except maybe on the 'vette.

That's good to here. I play at odd times and want to make sure I can still do it if I can't find help.

I'm almost 4/4/3/3 and I've solo'dall the missionsso far (though I've died a couple of times on some of the missions). I'll be getting a group for the Vette though, don't think I can solo that.

If your experienced flight sim gamer, you'll be able to do virtually all the mission solo...obviously depending on squadron (some are harder than others) and to a small extent your equipment and droid use.
Getting a hold of the nicer droid commands from the other faction pilot's can make things easier once your on the tougher 3 and 4 tier missions.
Its been quite a few years since i did any flight sims before now (only just started playing space with rotw), so i'm abit rusty, and only after doing my master mission with a few friends did i really get back into the swing of being in a flight sim again.

Which time? LOL
I think my first run through pilot, i had help with the Teir 4 exit mission and the vette. Everythign else i soloed. My 2nd time, i had help with someone explaining to the general proceedure in how to solo the vette. Everything else i soloed. My 3rd time onward, i soloed everything, and do not require any help at all, whatsoever.
Its all a learning progression. Ill wager most people get help on their first time through. Then again, ill wager most ppl only go through it one time and then call it good.

Just for kicks.
Who would like to see BH missions carry into space, and (when force rankin is back) permaovert jedi be perma overt in space?
