Well, meaning that SOE doesn't care much for the timeline; No Galactic Civil War, Jedis running rampant like rabbits, and stuff from episode 3, etc. They might as well put in the deathstar, and while their at it, include stuff from kOTOR too, if they haven't already

It's in little pieces scattered all over Yavin IV. The second Death Star hasn't been built yet at this point in the timeline.

In, oh, X years.
Considering the fact that the time is pretty much not moving at all: Never.

Your first two posts.... both about where is a death star. No offense bro but it seems like you just bought an account from e-bay logged in and found no DS, so now you are pissed.
And yes most likely DS will be never built. Death Star 2 is 160km in diameters, our space secotors are 15k wide....

If you go to Yavin IV space sector, and fly around for a bit you start to fly through bits of Death star, X-wing and TIE fighter which is a nice touch I think

As we saw the skeleton of the first death star at the end of episode 3, we can think building a death star require 20 years. So the second death star should be visible somewhere around Endor, but only if all the building process occures around Endor. Maybe the second death star has been moved around Endor in its final stage of construction ?

I remember correctly from one of the books the 2nd deathstar was built in large sections in another system, I wanna say it was Kessel but not possitive, its been a few years. Anyway, the large seconds were moved to Endor for the final constuction. Maybee someone here knows for sure. But yes the deathstar should be under constuction at this time.

Or given that there isn't 40 years between the end of EP3 and the end of EP6 (I'm sure the EU nuts have a figure), the Death Star 2 was either a) started a couple years after the Death Star 1 was begun or b) hastily thrown together in response to the destruction of the DS1.
Given that, there are three possibilities where the Death Star 2 is at this point in the timeline:
a) In a Geonosis pre-fab factory having smaller parts of the superstructure built on the ground or in a drydock
b) In space in a sector that's not currently in the game
c) On the "other side" of Endor that we can't access from our limited space sector.
The comment by a previous poster regarding the size of the Death Star 2 brings up another valid point. Our space sectors are too small to realistically handle Star Destroyers. We'd be able to see, at best, a tiny fraction of the Death Star's surface, and it would fill the entire backdrop of a space sector.
The only way the devs could conceivably add the Death Star to the game would be as a collidable barrier at one end of the Endor Sector, or to vastly increase the size of the space sectors/ scale our ships down to increase distance without increasing the actual volume of space.

The Death Star 2 wasen't built as a proper space station. It was built as a trap, to lure the Rebels to it. They simply built a husk, made it operational, and let the Rebels fly into their trap. Of course the hero's managed to throw a spanner in the works

this is of course if the game actually followed the canon which it hasn't. i usually tend to think of the game as something outside the normalstar wars canon.

I tend to think of it as a game made by a company looking to rake in the cash, using the Star Wars franchise to do just that.
Wait just a minute...
